So, when it hits 12AM for that timezone thats when the 3 tags resets. So if you used 3 tags that day, at 12AM for that timezone is when we get 3 tags again, if that makes sense?
But wouldn’t it just be easier if we used meeke’s time poll? I don’t understand the need for a timezone here since it’ll be the same moment for everyone because discourse has a built-in timezone converter
What we can do is choose three time-bars for the day (as we can use maximum of the 3 tags). The 3 time-bars can be chosen from Meeke’s poll above which will be voted the most.
Then in each time bar, we can use the tag and do the whole usual plan (choose map, choose number of imp etc).
And then the people who have voted only will be tagged. Not the whole @/AmongUs tag itself.
So basically, everyone has their own timezone. And everyone knows the time to their own timezone. And when you attach a time using discourse’s built-in calendar feature 2020-11-30T16:20:00Z, everyone sees their own timezone (if your location is correct of course). So there’s no need for a universal timezone is what I’m trying to say
Yeah I get how that works but if we stick to say pacific time, when it says 12AM for pacific the 3 tags will reset.
So if our 3 tags have been used but then it’s 12AM for you but not for me and you tag, the tags will reset for you, you’ll use 1 tag for the day, but for me it will be like 4 tags in one day because it’s 12AM for me yet, if that makes sense?
But the person would know when the tag should reset based on their own timezone. So if it resets at 8am my time, I’ll know when I can tag again. What if we just said:
