How are you pronouncing the j in jujs?

J - juh
Or
J- jih

This is confusing me even more :eyes::eyes::eyes:
J (Like in Just) U (Like in you(?)) J (Like the y in you) S (a normal s I guess) :eyes::sparkles:

European J is weird to a lot of native English speakers >.< It’s always a hard J to us.

That’s a rule you can reliably follow, there’s never a soft J in an English word

I appreciate all the ils/elles conjugations of French verbs that are spelled differently from il/elle/on conjugations and yet pronounced the same (eg ils parlent and il parle are the same).

Basically, I appreciate all letters in French because they seem to be silent (except when they’re not).

Thank you “knife”, for helping me win in an argument against another kid in kindergarten.

We were arguing over if knife was spelled “nife” or “knife.” I was arguing for the “knife” side, and I won :sunglasses: :sunglasses:
