as part of a survey, my class were asked one simple question: are you happy with how you look? 89% said no, 5% said yes, and the remaining 6% couldn’t decide. Now, honestly, that was seriously shocking. Yesterday, one of my best friends told me they had said no. Now, that was very shocking to me. Why? She’s one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever met, and I’ve envied her looks for…so longgggggg haha. And for her to say she didn’t like how she looked got me thinking. How many people really don’t like how they look? So please just answer one simple question:

in all honesty, it’s quite sad to see how many people don’t like how they look like, even if, too others, they may be gods/goddesses.
Why do you think so many people are insecure with how they look?
to be more precise, I’m happier about how I look. I started to see my own beauty even though I still think I’m a bit too fat and everything, at some point you start accepting who you are
For me, that was at age 20 (2 years ago).
In the younger ages (between 12 and 18), you’re in the face of finding your identity (life phases of Erikson) you’re comparing yourself with others and now with social media where you see so many picture-perfect people, you get the feeling you’ll never be as good and that eats a lot on young people at the moment.
Well I’m pretty happy with how I look, ik I’m not a super top model and blah blah blah but I believe I’m decent looking. Now ofc I sometimes feel insecure too, especially with social media and tv and all that, but I try not to let it get to me. After all, beauty is in the inside.
NO BECAUSE YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL - can you only watch the part “BUT SHE"S BEAUTIFUL” - cause the rest when they talk about zero personality and all that, doesn’t apply to you! CAUSE YOU HAVE PLENTY OF PERSONALITY! - I just like the way Kennedy says “beautiful”, that’s it!
