Bane of Degradation - Official Roleplay

Tall empty glasses began to clutter the table, as the patrons of the tavern who made acquaintance with her earlier that day gawked incredously at the person who was seemed to have taken it upon her to empty the tavern’s supply twice a day.Kirara shifted her gaze at the glass pushed its way among the others, her brow raising at the original owner. ‘Wha’ is ‘e upto now? Trying t’ pass me a laced drink?’ It did not seem like the stuff she had been drinking, though. She was about to grab the glass to inspect it when she heard him offering a truce and voicing his confusion about her attitude.

Kirara chuckled at the mention of “casualties”, “𝑩𝒆 𝒚𝒆 𝒐𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏’ 𝒂 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒓 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏’ 𝒂 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕, 𝒃𝒐𝒚?”, she grinned, amused and then sighed, "𝑰’𝒎 𝒂𝒍𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝒐’𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒕. 𝑱𝒖𝒔’ 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝒚𝒆𝒓 𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒏’𝒕 𝒂𝒔𝒌 𝒎𝒆 ‘𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒎𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒇𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒉’ 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏’𝒔 𝑰 𝒅𝒐. 𝑺𝒂𝒗𝒗𝒚? " Amissa took over t the mediator role again and Kirara raised the glass to her mouth. The blandness of the substance instantly permeated her mouth. She slammed the glass down and spat out the drink.

“𝑾𝒉𝒂’ 𝒕𝒉’ ‘𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒅𝒊𝒅𝒋𝒂’ 𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒔 𝒎𝒆, 𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕?”

Enchanted bags were being distributed, as Kirara returned from her early morning breathing training. Kirara was also given one. She touched her chin and then moved her hand down, giving Amissa her thanks with a smile before heading back to her room. For a dual wielder like Kirara carrying her weapons around inconspicuously was always a bother, let alone other essentials and void-bags cost a fortune. The Katana suspending from her waist as always, she stuffed the bag with her Kusarigama, and the other weapon that was her priced possession in a leather sheath, along with some other things and came downstairs to regroup with her partners.

Not even trying to hide the roll of her eye, at their supposed “tardiness”, Kirara muted her rest of the nagging out for now to focus on the food. Listening to her yap like a…well, that would be enough. Amissa, though, said ‘f’ck you’ in the most polite way possible.

Eventually the fun time came to end and they set out for their journey, leaving the joyful city behind for some godforsaken land. But Andford was Kirara’s first step towards freedom. Glancing at the ocean for the last time, she made a silent promise to come back here again. [Say…], she began in Sign, not wanting Aevus’ attention upon them. [Heard wizards, researchers are big on the Withering lands. It’s safe to form a sizable party to venture to that land since who knows what is out there. So why’s this bi-- I mean, why’s professor alone? Don’t have anyone to listen to her bull?], she questioned. [And snooping around Ancient Archives, do we even have a permit?]. For some reason this “friend” Aevus mentioned seemed shady. Kirara could not imagine someone normal keeping with that nasty fussing.
