@katabasis – Candance (good friend)
I’m down for that! I can maybe see them sharing their dream of attending Juilliard too-- Candance for dance, Aalia for music.
@astxrism – Elodie (unfriendly) & Dorian (dislikes / enemy)?
With Elodie being sensitive, and Aalia’s blunt nature, I can see Aalia having said things that have upset Elodie in the past. She would’ve picked up on how protective Dorian is of his sister, seeing Elodie as overly ‘shielded’, and I can see Aalia taking the mick out of her, as a way of winding him up, since.
@Nil – Lyonrad (frenemy)?
They’re both similar in personality, so I can see them butting heads. Aalia’s not one to take things personal, so I feel like they could have a relationship where they’re constantly rude to one another, without necessarily having any malicious intentions behind it.
If any of you have other ideas, let me know! This is just all I’ve managed to come up with so far, from looking at the FCs. (Also open to relationships with other characters.)
I love that! I’ve been thinking of something like that too so it works perfectly!
Haha great!
Then I’m the opposite way. Having the personality and bio as one piece makes my life harder. Because I feel like I’m only writing backstory and can’t give myself enough personality to go off of later, and I feel like I can’t give either the attention deserved.
i think thats kinda cos of how you wire your characters
you have their personalities influence their life
me and michi have their lives influence their personalities (we’re damaged lol)
also you have a way better time writing a backstory that i KNOW
you just give them experiences that make the grow as people (i think it gives them spice)
BUT also, they do also have a natural personality
so maybe it’ll help if i tell you to like picture it like your char is a surfer and like their bio is their wave?
and you can still incorporate their personality into their backstories, like @sofia includes specific story times in her bios, you can try that and talk about the way they react which tells you alot!
Yes we are
I write mine both ways. Their personality influences their past which in turn influences their personality as they develop into the person they are when the RP begins. Each influences the other, but they are still separate.
Trying to write them combined in one piece just feels all jumbled up or more like a list of facts to me, there’s no way for me to give both the deserved attention and make a chronological flow or any logical flow when it’s written as a combination.
That makes sense. But having it all as one doesn’t mean you have to do it that way. Some submissions separated the two into ‘personality’ and ‘biography’ which is fine by me. Having one answer box for it lets people structure it the way they want. The people who prefer to do it as one can’t really do that when there are two boxes, but if there is one, you can still split it into two. And you can still do that, if you want to make the two more separate to help with your character (but I understand if you don’t want to anymore).
I might. Well, if I find time to between the other feels like a billion character signups to continue writing.
I have Valerie approachable
Just letting you know I updated the relationships slide and added Mikael as “Good Friends” with Daniel and “Aquaintance’s” for Candice. I would have put “Partners in Crime” for daniel, though that felt a little on the nose.
Intriguing idea. I think it adds to the storyline as Candice and Delilah used to be friends and a similar thing occurred with the two of them. Add in the fact that Elodie “likes” Delilah (not sure if as friends or more) but it could be intriguing. I’ll add in acquaintances on the Relationship slide!
It would make sense that if Candice was friends with Elodie when they were younger, that Candice would have, in turn, been friends with Elodie’s brother at the same time as well. Which would further explain why the two of them are more “acquaintances” as Candice and Elodie are no longer friends?
Now hear me out - I may have an idea that requires further discussion. @astxrism @novella
Perhaps, Candice’s falling out with Delilah occurred due to something with Elodie (Maybe Elodie told Delilah something about Candice, etc) since Elodie likes Delilah? Maybe room for some Dorian drama too - though it would simply require further discussion! Let me know if you are at all interested.
Sure, sounds good! He is, after all, the go-to guy for anything and everything so it’s good to be on his good side for a friend and family"discount" of sorts
Sounds good! I could put him under Daniel as “acquaintance” and he could be under Dorian’s as “Dislikes.” But, I agree. Daniel does have a knack for getting into sticky situations so it would make sense why Dorian wouldn’t want his sister around that.
Here’s some Ideas:
Valerie and Candice
Valerie and Daniel
Sounds good! Though, right now would probably not be the best time. Candice is a little… okay a lot drunk right now and doing quite a bit of stupid/idiotic things.
I see that!! Here’s some ideas:
Lyonrad and Candice
Lyonrad and Daniel:
Here’s some ideas between my characters and yours!
Candice and Brandon:
Daniel and Brandon:
Let me know if you have any ideas!
I like these ideas. I think they could have been childhood friends also. With Daniel, I feel like Brandon wants to be friends with him but he doesn’t know how.
Sounds perfect! I’ll write down “Childhood Friends” on the face-claims for Candice and Brandon.
For Daniel and Brandon, I can write “Acquaintances” for now and we can possibly have a future interaction where they possibly get closer as “friends” depending on how the interaction goes! @Kbail
Is anybody approachable for Jezebel?
Yes yes yes I love it it’s perfect
Sounds rad
Valerie
As friends, in a I want to be like that way!
Yes, yes, makes sense!
And I like your idea, I’m definitely interested!
