“I know I just…” Amie sighed, looking at him on the floor. “You know what… it doesn’t matter… let’s just… get out of here,” Amie responded, a small smile appearing on her worried features at his sentiment of her looking okay. Though… the aspect of being caught didn’t really… please her… exactly. Looking back at her date she, she walked up to him fixing his suit - making sure it looked like nothing had happened in that room. “You…go first and then I’ll follow in a few minutes,” Amie told the man, moving away when everything was fixed and going towards the door to open it for him. “I’ll…find you during the ceremony,”
With those words, Amelia stayed in the room as he walked ahead of her - closing her eyes. Was she making a mistake? Was all of this a mistake? Probably. Ever since what her mom did… Amie had been making more than her fair share of mistakes… but… what did it matter? What did saving your virginity matter when your mom blamed your dad for her suffering? Her mom saved her virginity and growing up - there was a part of Amie that wanted her first time to be special… for it to be with someone she cared about. Well guess what. Love was a fcking lie and Amie had seen it first hand. It was only a matter of time until her parents got divorced and at this point, Amie was just waiting for the other shoe to drop. So maybe Amie was being reckless. Maybe having sex with… JP wasn’t a good idea. Maybe taking drugs wasn’t a good idea. Here’s the thing, however. Her mom regretted not doing it… not sleeping around… not being with other people. So why not learn from her mother’s mistakes right?
