There was a playful smirk that appeared upon his features with her reply to him - explaining how he should have responded. “I thought we wereeeee passstttt that stageeee,” Riker sighed, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her in for a hug. “I know all that stuff. You’re amazing because you just saw your favorite person in the whole world, aka me, and how could you not be great in my company. I mean, I’m pretty damn awesome Yara. And we both know you look greaattttt,” he pouted in a childish manner. Even now, Riker’s childish tendencies remained over the years. It was a staple Riker move - after all. Though, despite this, he pulled the girl in for a tight hug. “I’ve missed you, Williams. Is Maverick treating you right? Do I need to poison his lasagna and help dispose of a body?” he questioned with curiosity, pulling away slightly so he could look at her. Jordan… could wait a little longer…(or at least it was a good excuse to avoid him for a little longer).
