“There you are you little Rascal,” Jess laughed, picking her daughter up from the floor and tickling her before placing a kiss on the child’s cheek. Jess had never done baby talk with her kids - rather just talking to them like she talked to everyone else… which kind of was partly the reason why she often got called to the dean’s office because one of her children said a bad word they weren’t supposed to. Oops. “Did you get yourself into trouble darling, besides your little nanny escape which was very impressive by the way. Your dad and I missed you though,” Jess told her daughter, kissing her forehead again as the boy answered that she was a little angel which, albeit, Jess doubted a little bit because no child of hers would ever be an angel. I mean… did you meet Jess and Dori as kids? Yeah. Impossible, but she loved them regardless. Jess laughed at the mention of apple juice - realizing that giving her daughters their drinks in martini glasses so they felt involved might have not been the best idea with all the drinks around the room. “Thank you… Enrique?” Jess clarified, looking at him with a smile as he nodded and disappeared.
“Did you want some apple juice darling? Alright come on. Why don’t you tell me about your adventure while we walk?,” Jess asked bringing the little girl back to the room where she was originally helping Jezebel and grabbing a juice box out of her purse to hand to the girl. “Are you ready to throw flowers for your cousin Jezebel sweetie?” she asked as she started fixing her child’s hair.
