Unfortunately, the nerdy guy was still standing in front of their table. If he thought they were actually going to agree to flip a coin for a book then he was crazy. Before he could tell the guy there was no way they were doing that, Luna agreed to give the book to him. Elijah was really confused, looking back and forth between them dramatically, but realized that its her book and if she wanted to give him it, it was her choice. But why this annoying guy. “Y-you have r-really g-good taste in books.” Elijah couldn’t control the deep breath that he let out. Why Luna? Don’t compliment him or he’s going to think he can do this to anyone.
“W-wow. Thank you.” He said while fixing his collar. Elijah rolled his eyes.
The guy hesitated before asking. “So, are you single by any chance.” Without hesitation Elijah put his arm around Luna. “No, she’s my girlfriend.” It felt really weird to say but there was no way he was going to listen to this guy try and give her his number.
