Blue Royalty: New Blood

Katherine Burton was truly turning out to be… well… more interesting than Kaspian had initially given her credit for. For something that started out as him feeling bad for what he did, was turning into a morning that was actually somewhat intriguing. Girl had acting props - honestly. Not many people could trick Kaspian, and it was honestly something he respected. Could make a great scam… but… well let’s not talk about work right now. Perhaps it was the innocence she held? Not internally… well maybe… but her external appearance matched with the way she held herself screamed there’s nothing to see here. Kaspian could never play that troupe since too many people usually suspected him of something - blame it on being a man? Or maybe it was his personality - either way - TSA would probably check him before going on a plane. Was that racist? Maybe. But hey, White Girl had some superpowers called privilege. Though, going back to the topic at hand, she was… far more interesting than he expected and maybe that was partly the reason he offered to teach her… well that, and Kaspian never goes back on a promise and he told her he’d give her a good time.

His smirk grew as she added a little… forewarning to him about preemptively sucking… and no, not the other kind of sucking. Who knew how she was at that - but, that wasn’t the point. “Well, Katherine, I’m sure the first person who learned how to surf wasn’t that great at it until they learned the mechanics of it so to that, I just have to say, who cares? You’ll learn, you’ll get better, and then maybe we can have a real race one day.” he responded as she pulled her hand away. With that, he led the girl to back towards where the two bikes were placed as she asked another question. “Well, I think it’ll definitely be fun… after you fall once or twice…” he noted with a playful smile indicating he was joking. “And I personally think I won, but I’ll let you decide if you want to join me for a soak in the hot tub after this or not. But… if you fall on your ass as much as I expect, you might need it,” he continued with another joking sentiment. Nah, he wouldn’t let her fall and he’d make sure she wouldn’t be hurt.

As the two arrived at the bikes, Kaspian put his hand up indicating wait before disappearing back into the shed and coming back with a some more protective equipment. Putting the things on the floor, he walked towards her with a “Do you mind if I…” asking before he helped strap the elbow pads on, followed by the knee pads, and helmet. “I doubt we’ll need it but… precautions,” Kaspian noted before going to the bike. “Okay, listen up dear student. We’re going to speed through some basics before you start. So this is a dirt bike - and as the name suggests - it’s created in a way that allows it to ride on rougher terrain so it’s not really the same as your basic motorcycle in that it has a stronger grip on the wheels and usually moves faster and is slightly more sensitive…”

With that, Kaspian went through everything there was to know about the bike. The clutch, the break, the fuel tank and more - taking approximately 8 minutes of her time to explain what she needed to know before riding. He then proceeded to show her tutorials on how to start, balance, speed up, slow down, and stop. And with that, he added “Alright, let’s go.” With those words, Kaspian got off the bike and grabbed his helmet and safety goggles. “You’ll ride up front this time and I’ll be sitting behind you making sure nothing happens.” And with that, Kaspian got on the back of the bike, holding it up with his legs so she could get on in front of him. Though he’d let her work the controls, Kaspian would have his hand over hers to make sure everything was going smoothly and keeping the balance - trust him, Katherine Burton wouldn’t have a scrape.
