There was a noticeable scowl on Mason’s features at her words. Couldn’t Olivia just… do what he said? Okay okay fine… look yes Olivia’s a strong, independent woman, and Mason… understood that. He respected that. He just… didn’t want her hurt and he knew that anything + Fin would someway equate to her getting hurt. No seriously - if anyone took a look at Fin’s history (dating or otherwise) someone always got caught in the crossfire and honestly, he didn’t want Olivia to be one of those people. Even if it’s not emotional hurt… trust him… there were worse things than mental and emotional pain sometimes… and yes, Mason knows this may sound hypocritical with what… he himself did to the girl years earlier. “Even if that’s… true… you could just avoid that in the first place by listening to me… god… you’re… bloody infuriating,”
A sigh left his lips as Mason brought his hand to his head to massage the bridge of his nose. She was just that - infuriating. “Or maybe you can not having your night ruined in the first place…” Look… at the very least she had to see that he was making a point. If she just stayed away from Fin, she could have her… not once in a lifetime experience but at least she could have a good bloody time. “… Olivia… I know we haven’t… are you sure? I just… I want you to be safe and I don’t know if what you’ve been bloody doing is keeping you there…”
Another sigh left his lips “Fcking hell wasn’t VC watching out for you? Fck me.” Mason cursed, looking around for the third time.
