Blue Royalty: New Blood

Hera rolled their eyes as soon as Ari started to speak again. They wondered when she last spoke to her without it being an insult. “Daiane, the girl I kissed at the winter carnival? Yeah. She is way hotter.” They said, referring to daiane’s attractiveness, less in comparison to Ari’s exes and more to the person she was looking at. Hera wouldn’t give the details of the event, but Ari was clearly a little stupid for calling the girl they cheated with hot.

They remembered Ari’s moans, whimpering, shaking when Hera was inside of her. Thinking about how she’d beg for more, doing everything Hera told her to, but they bit their tongue. “Crazy how people actually want to sleep with me. Sorry you think my tongue gave you throat chl@mydia, but I assure you I take care of myself.” They would say a little more, and be a little meaner, remembering all of the different girls that came Hera’s way while Ari was probably stealing candy from babies, but Hera didn’t want to be a douche. They were alot of things; probably a slvt, lowkey a pretentious emo kid, but NEVER a douche. Still had to make her regret her attack, though.

“You’re right. It’s probably better for everyone that you stay lonely.” Hera feigned a pitiful look. It was true that it didn’t really matter what anyone thought of Ari. She wasn’t going to change, especially not for the people she ridiculed. Ari went on and on, but it was all redundant. “The greek goddess? Oh yeah, because you getting off to the thought of literal mythology makes sense. It’s cute you can’t admit you liked it, really. You can drag me through the mud, Ari. But that’s not gonna change what happened.” They stung. Keeping it as classy as they could manage to.

Finally, she was able to show remorse for Hera’s poor sister, at least. Out of all of the heinous things Ari did, her aggression to their sister was the only one to make them truly angry. In these months, since Persephone basically moved in, they had finally gotten that fraternal sort of love that they always wondered about. She was a mess, but she cleaned up Hera’s, too. They had the same memories; running out of their foster’s food stamps and then stealing milk and eggs, covering the windows with a blanket when they didn’t have curtains, chasing the local cr@ckhead for whatever he did that time. And they didn’t have the same full DNA, but they looked alike; thick skin to resist the formation of more bruises, self inflicted scars still red on their limbs because of how deep they ran, and their mother’s eyes. Everything was he same, they just lived it apart. But she was sweet. So similar that they understood each other like the back of their hands, but different enough not to hate each other.

Yeah she hurt them, but Hera could take it. And Persie could fend for herself, but Hera wasn’t gonna let someone like her target the people she loved. “Oh, you were drunk? There’s no excuse for what you did to my sister. Instead of explaining your remorse to me, your sorry @ss can apologize to her yourself. I don’t care if you’re sorry, but she does. So be a decent fvcking person and tell her.” She barked with no remorse. The girl tried to keep going on insulting Hera’s body but they were already done with what she had to say. “Haven’t you done enough already? Shut up.”
