“Aw,” Persie empathized when he said his parents didn’t take him. One probably wouldn’t think she’d easily pity people she knew because of Cerulean, but she was always a naturally soft person. “Maybe you’ll go back and visit sometime! They have Disney World in LA” She smirked, trying to cheer him up by telling him about tourist attractions. “I’ve always wanted to go there.” She reflected on her old daydream, it seemed like a core memory she just had to make.
She felt kinda bad having to let him explain something probably basic to her. She figured she should probably know the meaning of enchante, but it seemed like she had no choice but to ask. Logically, it meant something like nice to meet you. “Ohhhhh, like enchanted?” She grinned inevitably. He’s enchanted to meet me.
“I like that idea. I wouldn’t mind waking up with you.” She slipped, almost too smoothly. “I mean, you waking me up, you know?” She tried to clean it up. PERSIE YOU CANNOT PLAY WITH THE IDEA OF A ONE NIGHT STAND, YOU ARE SHOWING ALREADY. “I can be your first customer, though.” She offered with a kind smile. He followed with a story about his childhood, she pouted hearing about it, commenting that it was sweet.
“Yeah, at least it was the ex that’s my age. Honestly, I was with kind of an older man before that.” She opened up, finding it easy to just release all her bs with a nice stranger. “I’m just glad I’m not in that cycle anymore, you know? They’ll tell you you’re different, you’re not like other girls your age. And suddenly, they’re the only person you can really believe in. There’s times when they push you too far, and you want to get away, but you need them.” She didn’t expect him to relate, but it felt safe to share. And who knows? He probably had some rough experiences to talk about too. Persephone remembered all the times he would pull her away from his laundry she was doing, and tell her he wanted to be with her. He’d start kissing her neck, and she’d tell him she was tired, eye bags wearing at her face, but he wouldn’t listen. He’d keep going, complimenting her until she smiled slightly at something he said. And then she’d give into him. Shuto.
