Adonis had gotten the news that Sadie had died through social media and because he had heard one of his classmate crying. Now, Adonis did not know Sadie very well or at all now that he thought about it but he did have friends who knew her and though he was not really good and comforting people he tried to be there you know, give out a helping hand, some brocouragement- ok that did not sound right, Adonis will find a better word.
Talking about brocouragement, Adonis was walking with Sebastian, they were talking, Sebastian using his phone as he glanced back at Adonis occasionally, and responded throughout- Sebastian has always been the better at comfort, and at listening. Sometimes you might think Sebastian is not listening but he is, and if you ask him to summarize what was said, he would and he will ask questions. He sometimes just stays mute to give you a chance to fully talk, he had been the one to help Evie and Adonis while they were fighting about Atlas-- it was still fck Atlas till today and all, but he was glad to have Sebastian with all this people dying and going missing, he was glad Sebastian will always be his bro.
“Is that not Evie and Leon?” Sebastian said as he waved at them, putting his phone in his pockets. Adonis walked towards them, not noticing Atlas. He had a big grin on his face but he noticed Leon looking a little nervous so the grin dropped. Damn did he know Sadie like that fr? Was it why he was so down, hopefully he does not go into another depression season, Leon was never good with loosing people, he was very bad when it came to it and Adonis understood why, so he was hoping that Sadie and him weren’t close like that.
“What’s wrong?” Adonis said cocking his head, he noticed the body of somebody. Very short and small like an ant, interesting. “Who are you guys hiding? Come on let me meet them.” Adonis said as Sebastian froze up, probably he had realized the person but Adonis had not. He turned to Sebastian, “Sebastian whose it?” Sebastian looked away with a shrug,
“Just look,” Sebastian said and Adonis need, he looked and the presence of the shortest most annoying little cockroach zombie made him almost fall. “A-atlas?” Adonis stammered, “Please, tell me i’m seeing things. Does Atlas have a doppelganger? Is that who i’m seeing, Atlas doppelganger?”
