Okay so maybe he hadn’t thought this through. He spent months practicing what he would say to her, heck he even asked Phoebe what to say. And what did everyone say? “Speak from the heart”. Simple enough… right? Though it seemed like a fairly easy thing to do, Alex’s mind went blank in that moment. The last 3 months spent trying to win her back failed in this moment.
Now was his chance, probably his only chance.
“You’re such a bad liar” Alex chuckled, closing the door behind him. “I need you to just listen to me for 5 minutes… please” He begged, staring at her with a certain look in his eyes, one he often made to get his way. “I know how bad it seemed when I pushed you away that night. And I just really want to apologize. You are the kindest, sweetest, most amazing girl I’ve ever met and I don’t know if I can stand not talking to you for that long ever again. I like you Amie so much, and I’m really stupid for pushing you away like that. But truth be told I was just… surprised. I didn’t think you liked me back. Just… please say something… and don’t leave… again” What if she thought he was trying too hard? Or… no she can’t leave again… could she? Alex knew Amie missed him just as much as he missed her. He hoped that his words had some effect on her, and didn’t just make him seem desperate.
