“Yeah, it has.” They responded, crossing their arms. Not that it’s a bad thing. They thought before rolling their eyes at his next comment. “Not that I need to explain myself to you, but I was fifteen years old and pregnant. I left to give myself and my daughter some privacy.” They retorted, trying to keep their voice calm. “Although, I guess I should say our daughter.” They added under their breath, without thinking.
