Blue Royalty: New Blood

She watched in frustration at how Elio grew annoyed at her nonchalance over their situation. “I’m sorry, but you were the one waving your d!ck around at Paige right in front of me and half of the senior class,” Lenora blatantly said to him, her explicitness automatically engaging the attention of more surrounding classmates. “So if anything I should be the mad one, right?” She asked, not understanding where his anger towards this was coming from. If anything, it was better for him not to talk about it, since it would probably open up a plethora of issues that would be enough to end them right then and there.

Okay, maybe Lenora asked for the reaction Elio gave to the comparison with him and JP and Zek. But in her own obviously-unbiased opinion, Elio deserved it after the stunt he pulled on that first senior party. No, Lenora never fully addressed it, other than just then, but she could still make small digs in her form of payback to him. There was no real acknowledgement from Lenora until his final sentiment. “That’s all they want?” She repeated with her eyebrows raised. “What, because that’s- what- all I’m useful for? You think that’s the only reason why someone could take an interest?” She asked him, because she had heard the rumours and the slut shaming. Maybe they were true - maybe she made them true, but, of all people, she didn’t need her boyfriend giving into them.

Though soon enough, her view on Elio was blocked by Zek and JP who had rushed over to them. “Zek, it’s fi–” But she was cut off by JP pulling her away from Elio telling her she doesn’t deserve this to which she sighed. “Seemingly never?” She replied in the short time he gave her before he turned back to Elio. It was hard to see she didn’t deserve it because maybe she did. This was probably karma for how she ended her last relationship, despite her intentions behind the reasoning. After a moment of assessing the situation in front of her, she realised it was probably up to her to put an end to it.

“J, it’s okay, leave this alone, please,” Lenora told him, her hand falling around his wrist to pull it ever so slightly away from Elio. She couldn’t help but feel guilty… guilty that good people like JP and Zek were putting efforts into a person like her. She definitely wasn’t worth it.
