Clara jumped back, startled as she accidentally slammed the door of her locker shut. She hadn’t slept much the night before and even though she’d consumed two full cups of coffee between waking up and arriving at the school, she was still feeling completely out of it. “I am so sorry.” She mumbled as she turned to face the person she’d bumped into when she’d jumped. “Oh.” She reacted as she realized who it was. “Adonis, hey.” She greeted him. If she was being completely honest, being friendly with Adonis was something she was still getting used to, even though it had been a few years since they broke up.
