“I’m not one to forget a person.” She told her. This was entirely true. In general, Embry was good at remembering people’s faces but Macy was someone she knew she could never forget. Not after the time they had spent together. Although, there was something different about Macy tonight. She seemed nervous, which was definitely not how she carried herself the last time Embry had seen her. “Macy, relax. It’s just me.” She said to her, putting her hand on the other girl’s arm with the intention of calming her down.
She nodded as she explained why she was at the carnival, mirroring her smile when she asked how Embry was doing. She debated telling Macy about Daiane, but ultimately decided that one, telling her ex about her girlfriend was a recipe for awkwardness and two, the less people knew about her and Dai, the better. “I’m great. What about you?” She answered, brushing some of her curls off of her face. “Also, yes, of course I want to!” She responded to her asking about the cotton candy.
The harsh winter air thrashed violently against the fragile inside of his nostrils, sore from all the coke that Chad had been snorting earlier that night.
He was back. The king was back.

“That’s understandable.” Mia said, climbing into a car as Tyler got into another one. There was this one kid laughing maniacally and bumping into everyone, and Mia was hit several times, laughing as she was sent flying. “Yeah, that does sound weird.” Niko said with a small laugh as they set their daughter down on the ground, giving their arms a break. However, before they could say anything else to Leah, Yua took off running. “I am so sorry but I have to follow her. Hopefully, I can speak to you again.” They apologized to her before running off in the same direction as their daughter. They moved quickly through the carnival, wondering how someone with such small legs could get so far in a matter of seconds. “Sh-t.” They cursed when they finally found her approaching a bench. On it was the one person they hoped wouldn’t be in attendance tonight. They quickened their pace to a run, scooping the little girl up once they’d arrived at the bench. “Yua, you can’t run away like that.” They gently scolded her. “Hello, Chad.” They greeted him, barely making eye contact with him.
There was a fugly ass child approaching chad with such speed and ferocity that he thought the thing would be the cause of some sort of rabies. God it was hideous. But in a way that felt…familiar.
“Oh, hey Niko.” He said in reply, brushing off the negative vibes, but his slight frown turns upside down when faced with the chubby kid. “Look at this little ray of sunshine!” First thing about ugly kids, is to never say that they’re ugly. “Is this…Is this who I think it is? Is this her?” He had to ask.
As their daughter buried her head into their shoulder, Niko pondered how they should respond to Chad’s question. Part of them was surprised that he even remembered their name and that was the part of them that wanted them to tell him no and deny that Yua was his daughter. The other part of them was telling them that he at least deserved to know who she was and then he could make the decision about whether or not he wanted to be part of her life. They’d made it extremely easy for him to walk away and have nothing to do with her: they’d given her their last name and she didn’t have a father listed on her birth certificate, which meant that he was under no legal obligation to help provide for her. “Yes, this is her.” They answered, deciding to tell him. “Her name is Yua.”
As she listened to Adonis talk about how close he was to his sister, and how he didn’t want her to grow up, she began feeling a soft spot for him. “Why are you being adorable. Stop.” She playfully asked. “You still have your sister and she still has her older brother to depend on. She just needs space.” She could relate to his sister because growing up she wanted to be independent and have her own identity. Destiny could see Adonis sitting on the horse in front of her as the horse lifted her up, and she laughed really loud as the ride began gaining speed. “No, I’m not scared. Do you hear me laughing right now?” She said. “Well…what if I wrapped my arms around you?” She flirtatiously added. It was practically impossible to get up and walk around even though the ride wasn’t going as fast - but she still stood up trying to get to his horse. Unfortunately, she tripped and fell on the floor. Then quickly got back on her horse after stumbling. “Please tell me he didn’t see that.” She thought to herself. Just pretend nothing happened.
“Because being adorable is in my middle name.” He smiled lightly, trying to lighten the mood. ‘She still has her older brother to depend on’ suree, the only time Kali actually wants to have a full conversation with him is when she’s nagging him to date her friend’s sister. ‘You guys would be the couple’ ‘Me and Marisa could be sisters-in-laws’ ‘pleeease’ nowadays she relies more on Ambrose, their elder brother than on him. It was quite sad, Adonis really wished she didn’t have to grow. Why couldn’t she stay the same clingy 7 years old she used to be? why did she have to grow? Dal and Calix were still close to him.
Adonis wondered if he will react this way when he has kids and they grow. Adonis shuddered, ‘no’ he didn’t want to have kids. There were a headache, and although he loves his younger siblings he remembered when they toddlers and babies. And he didn’t want to watch them leave him, when their heading off to collage and wave goodbye. That would pain him. So yeah, in conclusion Adonis is never having kids.
“Well…what if I wrapped my arms around you ?” She flirtatiously. Adonis chuckled, “How about you take me to dinner first? Or do you prepare to go to the second base before dinner?” He flirted ‘jokingly’. As the ride began speeding, Adonis noticed as Destiny tripped and fell on the floor. Quickly getting back on the horse. Adonis resisted the urge to laugh, ‘you must not’ he told himself.

Being close to him, being in his arms, Jezebel never wanted the moment to end. She could be there like that with him forever. [color= #04a0e0]“I don’t even know anymore.”[/color] If Jezebel would’ve known how difficult it would be to not be with Jordan for the few days leading up to the wedding, she probably would’ve done more to not have followed that rule, but there they were. There wasn’t much room for them to get closer to each other, but what room there was, they closed the distance, Jordan pulling her closer and Jezebel closing the final distance between their lips. Even still, when kissing Jordan she would always be just in the moment. The world beyond wasn’t even a passing thought, it was pure bliss. Though, there came the moment that the kiss reached its end, and first came Jordan telling her he loved her, which immediately made her smile, he moved to lightly kiss her stomach, also saying I love you to the baby, something which only made her smile grow more. “Can I-” He stops and pauses for a few passing moments and takes notice of the way that his big, hot, steamy muscles contract in the winter air from his nervousness. It was a strange occurrence for Chad to be nervous. Hell, once he ate and chased a mountain lion with his bare hands and had not one ounce of fear. But looking at this fat child, HIS fat child, his pals are sweaty.
“Can I hold her?” It is timid and shy. But also kinda cute. Aww.
Niko couldn’t help but feel confused. They’d expected Chad to tell them that he wanted nothing to do with her, not that he wanted to hold her. Not to mention, he seemed to be almost nervous, an emotion Niko definitely didn’t associate with him. “Um, yeah, of course.” They answered, still trying to snap out of their momentary shock. They gently pried her arms off of their neck, turning her around as they held her out to him. The little girl turned her head towards her parent, obviously confused by the situation. Niko smiled at her and nodded reassuringly, letting her know that it was okay.
“Second base before dinner?” She asked, slightly out of breath from just faceplanting on the floor. “No, I need at least some steak, lobster and the finest wine. Do you think you can do that or would I have to pay for everything?” Did she think he was only half joking? Yes, but it was still fun and entertaining to flirt with him. Looking around the ride, she saw some parents walking with their kids, which brought back memories of when her father would take her to the carousel and had to help her get on the horse. Ah, she felt like a little girl again. “Let’s play two truths and a lie.” She abruptly said.
It was evident that Niko was in shock from the sudden shift in expression on their face. Chad took the fat kid in his arms almost immediately, allowing the heaviness to weigh down comfortable in his muscly arms. It felt peculiar, and he hated it. Hated how natural the feeling of peace came with the mere touch. Hated how the need to protect became overwhelming. Hated how Yua somehow seemed to not hate his company.
Chad-Kyle Caucasington was many things: an alpha male, a pretty bad misogynist and overall a pretty sh*tty person too. But he would not be a bad father, and he would not abandon his child just as his parents did to him.
“I think she might like me.” He holds her closer, looking up to Niko in admiration. They had given him a perfect child, and he never even said thankyou. Was too scared and selfish.
Niko had to bite back a smile as they watched Chad holding Yua. They had to admit, it was adorable to see him holding her, mostly because she looked so little compared to him. “Yeah, I think she does.” They agreed, completely letting go of any past assumptions they had of him as they saw the way he was looking at them. They could see that their daughter was starting to get antsy, so they took her back into their arms before she could start crying and gently tapping her nose to make her giggle.
Adonis arched a brow, “What type of gentleman would I be if I let a lady pay for everything?” He winked. Suddenly Kali appeared out from nowhere holding her best friend’s hand. “Yo Adonis, i’m leaving with Marisa to go to this arcade.” She gave him a bright smile. “Anyways bye, have fun and don’t miss me too much.” Wait what? Adonis thought she has already gone. Or was that another person he saw before?
Destiny noticed his sister coming back with another friend. Speaking of that, it reminded her of the friend who ditched her. Maybe she must have seen that she was spending time with Adonis which is why she didn’t try to look for her. Right? That has to be it. I’ll go first. Ladies first right? She wanted to think of something that was believable but also interesting. She reflected while looking up at the ceiling. “Okay, one, I was ditched on a blind date. Two, I once crashed into someone’s car during a party, and three I had surgery on my nose.”
The little kid started thrashing about and Niko took Yua out of Chad’s hands to sooth her. The very moment that his daughter was out of his arms he wanted nothing but to have her back where they belong.
Chad wanted to take Yua out and get her some matching yeezys. He wanted to be there for her very first rap battle and comfort her after a well- deserved victory.
“I know I have been a bad father so far…and I will understand if you won’t forgive me, but I want to be in her life if you’d let me.”
Chad had never been more truthful and honest, and it was kinda exhausting being this…nice and respectful.
“Do you do drugs?” Jackie’s whole face turned to excitement as soon as Michael said this. “Oh my god, are you offering? Because I would love to be on the same drug you’re on if that’s why you feel like you matter. I mean imagine what I could do if I felt as pompus as you right now. However, if you’re not on drugs and you actually think you’re better than me … well I pity you, because I can prove I’m better than you in every concievable way. I mean what skills do you have anyways, if you actually have any? And who are you? I mean you’re supposed to be this big deal, but I don’t even know your name or your face, I mean I know you’re name isn’t really Michael but whatever your name is I probably wouldn’t recognize it anyways. But let’s be fair … Can’t be much worse than my name.” He purposely didn’t say his name because the kid didn’t say his real name either.
Niko had no idea who the person standing in front of them was, but he was definitely not the boy they impulsively hooked up with two years ago. They knew that it was only a matter of time before he returned to his usual self but hopefully that would wait until they had left. “Well, it’s hard to be a good father when you don’t know that your kid exists.” They admitted, owning up to their decision. A decision they were sort of starting to regret. “I’m going to be honest with you, I always thought that you’d want nothing to do with her, but if you want to, I don’t have a problem with it.” They answered. They knew that Yua would never see her parents together - they had zero desire to be in relationship with Chad - but now she at least had the chance to know her father.
”were past the stage you tell me you missed me and give me very honest compliments?” she said with a jokingly dramatic emphasis on her words, as if he just said something so outrageous. The man then pulled her in a hug which made her laugh lightly, ”I did miss your awesome little ass though , so I’m great for sure” she told him with a smile as response to what he said seconds before.
”i’d say poisoning the lasagna is a bad move because I’ll probably forget and eat it instead” she laughed ”but A for effort for sure she added, sipping her drink.
She wanted to ask how elo was, but it’s not like she didn’t know there was a little bit of a mess out there, so spoiling the mood wasn’t necessarily on her to do list, but at the same time she did care for Riker and didn’t want to see him hurt or whatever. ”and you? still hanging or awesomer now? ” she asked
