After her time spent with Akielah at the cafe, Valerie’s day was turned even with an event she didn’t expect when she woke up that morning, a date with Daniel Parker. A guy that lately has been stuck on her mind like chewing gum stuck under a middle school class table. It was in fact very fun, and as the guy took her to a boxing rink, the girl laughed as he stated how he’s now allowing her to do what most people do, punch him.

Though… it wasn’t exactly like that since apparently the guy was skilled also in that, he just keeps surprising doesn’t he? As much as she tried, most of the times she just found herself pinned to the ground, not that she was complaining.

As they were done there, satisfied and sweaty, they went to Daniel’s house to get cleaned up before the whole lock in thing. He went in the shower, and although she could have picked literally any of the 727282929 showers in that house, she chose to save water and shower together because why the hell not? And it was indeed a good call, as it was quite an awesome shower.

They got ready and headed out to the school, to the lock in thing she was clearly having too much of a good time to even look forward to, but it was important in a way, so yeah. “There are so many other things I’d rather be doing with you than be walking this hallway,”
Valerie chuckled lightly, definitely agreeing. ”Preach” she said with a light head shake as she looked around, they seem to have arrived exactly on time, since people have already started walking in the same direction and gathering up.

”Hey” she said and stopped for a moment turning to look at the guy walking with her ”I had a really good time” she said, genuinely. Not just good, an amazing time. She was now in a good mood and not many things could ruin that. ”Thanks” she smiled lightly

They then walked towards the gym where everyone was gathering up for the activity, parting ways as they waited for it to start.

Elodie May DeLoughrey

Elodie walked into the school with a brightest smile on, looking around for her friends, or just anyone she could talk to. Ever since she came back home from her date she couldn’t stop smiling, she genuinely felt happy and there was nothing that could ruin that for her. It was a very nice day; the lock-in only making it more interesting. If she had that whole day free she would already be in school, helping, but that wasn’t her priority today.

In the distance, she spotted Kara and without hesitation made her way towards the girl. Maybe Elodie wanted to talk about what happened today, and how she was feeling but she didn’t want to… brag about it. Or maybe she just didn’t know how to talk about it because it was her first official date… first official date ever. “Hey,” keeping the smile on, Elodie enthusiastically said as she stopped in front of the girl. “Thought you wouldn’t show up today,” teasingly adding, her smile being replaced with a chuckle, she looked around the hall, placing her hands on her own hips. They barely had two months left and she would… miss this place. Maybe only Elodie was feeling that way but seeing everyone together now did make her happy; one of the last memories they would make. “What have you been up to this morning?” Quietly asking, she looked back at Kara.

“Oh wow I remember that… At least to you still have the picture, I didn’t completely ruin it.” She nodded in agreement. “Mhm, honestly probably one of the best pictures I have taken,” She grinned thinking back on it. Ah, the simpler times. “I don’t think I laughed as hard as I did there.”

“So do I…Works just perfect,” Mare smiled to herself,“I believe that it does.” She tucked a few pieces behind her ear. She was somewhat relieved when he didn’t ask who or what happened. She knows the two aren’t as on good terms so she didn’t want to bring up any hash memories.
”I’d say yes but it’s blue royalty so there’s probably going to be a disaster…But might be entertaining,”
“You are not wrong,” Mare confirmed it. “I could name countless times where things have took a deep turn with everyone…” She had a ton of memories flash through her mind. “When has it not been entertaining?” She asked as she raised her brows, letting out a small laugh.

”It was one hell of a picture” he said with a light breathed out chuckle as she said it was one of the best pictures she had taken ”Can’t blame you, it was quite iconic” he said, reminiscing indeed how hard she laughed, his mind wandering as he saw in his memory they way he smiled so happily and genuinely in all those moments, when they were younger and life was easier.

“I believe that it does.”
”Absolutely” he smiled
”You are not wrong, I could name countless times where things have took a deep turn with everyone… When has it not been entertaining?"
”You do have a point” he said ”But sometimes it gets way too personal I guess, I don’t really like that” he shrugged ”Just hope it will be good today” he added with a soft smirk

A laugh escaped Riker’s lips when she practically shouted that he went on a date. “Sorry… I was a little preoccupied getting ready for the date to tell you,” he joked, “but you’ll always be my wing woman,” he smiled - pulling her in for a hug. “Anyways; I took her on a hot air balloon ride above the city… I just didn’t account for the fact that she was scared of heights… which is probably where you would have come in handy but I kind of jumped the gun,” he laughed.

His laugher only continued as she revealed that she would be falling on her face quite a bit and shrugged; “But soon enough you’ll be better than me - and let’s be honest. You’re barely ever up early Maddy,” he uttered - ushering her into the gym where the conversation of a game had begun - one of seven minutes in heaven. “So… anyone you want to spend seven minutes in a small closet with doing god knows what?”

“Wait why weren’t you planning on coming?” Jordan frowned at the words. Even with his own problems; he still wouldn’t miss a school function. It provided a sense of normalcy that wasn’t really… a thing anymore. Though soon they moved the conversation out to how he was doing. Honest answer - not great. The answer he was gonna give her… “You know me Ruby; Just dancing myself around on… what did you call them… my twinkle toes?” he grinned. Though his grin diminished immediately as she explained burning her hand on a cigarette. Worry immediately encompassed his features as he looked at her “are you okay?” he whispered, moving away from her hug and looking down at her arm. “How… why?” he whispered - confusion clear in his voice.

“It was, wasn’t it?” She chuckled along with him. He was messing around with her and making funny faces as she was laughing so hard. Honestly such a wholesome picture. “Ah, I love it.” She announced about the memory. It was quite amazing. “I believe there might be another fair in the upcoming future. Maybe we could recreate it without the dropping of the phone?” She suggested, stifling a laugh.

She nodded with a sympathetic smile,"True, it isn’t as fun when you have to share something you don’t want to. " Luckily she never really had to share many of hers. She had no clue what she would do if some of them got out. As she got deeper in thought, Theo pulled her out of them,“I do too. I believe we are doing Seven minutes in heaven? I overheard some people talking about it.” She told him.

@CerealKiller ~ It’s perfectly fine! It is late. Should we move to the activity yet or no?

Her jaw dropped, “How… sometimes I forget how romantic you can be sometimes” she shook her head in disbelief. “Was it at least fun? Did you kiss?” she probably looked like a little kid getting excited over the littlest things… but she was happy for him. Her eyes lit up when she had yet another good idea, “Can I meet the one and only Elo?” a grin spread across her face.

“Better?” she started to laugh. “Thats hilarious… more like 100 times worse” her laughter soon died down as they were all making their way into the gym. More talk about a game, less time to tell him. “Nope… the one person isnt uh… really talking to me right now” She muttered. “I actually um… have something to tell you” her palms became sweaty. Her hands joined together, fingers pulling at others to relieve some anxiety. “I…” She couldn’t spit it out. Riker was the one person she was most nervous to tell, even if she knew he wouldn’t be upset. “I’m pregnant” she whispered

Jordan asked why she wasn’t planning on coming, and she sighed. “You know I’m not good with people. Like, at all. It would probably have been better if I’d stayed home, but, eh. Here I am.” Ruby laughed when he mentioned the old nickname she had for him. “Ah, good to know you remember. Oh. Yeah…my hand. I got mad while I was holding a cigarette. Bad idea. It’s fine now, though. You can’t even tell.” She said, holdup her hand for emphasis.”Henry.” She said simply. Speaking of, she spotted him entering the gym, looking away as they made eye contact. “Speak of the devil.”

He smiled at the words of him being a “romantic” but; what could he say? He was a hopeless romantic. He always had been with Ella until the break up - and ever girl since then. In was in his blood; if you liked someone why not give them everything you had? He kept the smile on his features when she asked if Maddy could meet her, before shaking his head a ferocious no. “Yeahhhhhh I don’'tttt think so. You’ll start telling her embarrassing stories of myself and I don’t know if I can handle that,” he joked. “You’ll probably tell her about that time I accidentally got on the wrong plane when I was coming to see you and ended up at the border of North and South Korea or something.”

As the scenery changed; the two now standing in a large gymnasium where students were gathered all around. A few had backpacks and sleeping bags in hand but most had put them down on the side somewhere to talk to friends. His eyes roamed the room, falling on a few particular people momentarily; Jessica, Dorian, Jordan, Yara, and so many more. The room was filled to the brin. Though what caught his attention was when she started talking again. Her words weren’t filled with a joking tone that they usually were when she wanted to talk to him so he turned back towards her - a raised eyebrow on his expression about the sudden change in tone… well… until she told him she was pregnant. Riker’s mouth went agape and his heart stopped. The room around him slowed when she said those words. Mostly because he knew there was only one person she had slept with… and it wasn’t exactly out of her own free will. “It’s his isn’t it?” Riker questioned; anger filling his features at the man in question. A man who would never bother Maddy ever again after what Riker did to him. But little did he know; he had the ability to weasel his way back in. “I’m…” Riker started; not knowing how to take this - but rather, all he did was pull her into a tight hug. “I… I’m here for you no matter what you want to do Mads. I’m so sorry - you don’t deserve this,” he mumbled; his voice cracking ever-so-slightly as he held her.

“NOOooo you think you’re not good with people; you do pretty damn well with them if I do say so my self. After all; you do know I’m a person too right? And I still think you’re great,” he smiled as he looked at her. Really looked; it had been a while since the two hung out and he did miss her - as he did all of his friends. A soft laugh left his lips when she mentioned his nickname - though it disappeared when she uttered the cigarette due to Henry. Jordan had heard of the famed Henry once; and everything he had heard was… honestly awful. “He’s here?” Jordan questioned; turning towards where she had been looking allowing him to see someone leaning against the wall of the gym; holding a cup tightly in his hand. “Do you need me to talk to him?” Jordan asked; a frown on his face. He didn’t like that a guy who made Ruby visibly uncomfortable was here.

Though soon; it seemed a game had started and Jordan pointed to it. “Want to join and forget about all of that?” he questioned; even though he didn’t exactly know what game it was. Though a bottle in the middle spinning made him think it was spin the bottle - rather it was Seven Minutes in heaven. He watched as Daniel Parker made his way to the middle - only just joining the game and already going towards the bottle. No one questioning him - probably because they were too scared. Which; granted, Jordan understood but at the same time him and Dan had been friends for too long for anything to affect their friendship.

Then he watched as the bottle landed on Ruby. “So what are we playing?” Dan asked - looking at Ruby as someone dared utter “Seven Minutes” and he responded with a laugh and a shrug. “Well Ruby; you ready?” Dan questioned; putting his hand out for the girl.

Jordan wasn’t sure if she was going to take it - but he did notice someone off the side looking angrily at the two. One ex-boyfriend by the name of Henry. Though Jordan didn’t see him making any movements as Ruby took Dan’s hand and they walked out of the Gym likely towards an empty classroom.

@Ouijaloveletters - I’m thinking we can switch to Ruby/Dan interaction?

“Awwwww come on” She stuck her lip out, pouting. “Pleaseeeee let me meet her” She looked around the room, pointing at all the different girls trying to guess which one was the infamous ‘Elo’. Every girl was a no, “Oh come on you have to give me something” she pleaded with him. She was determined to find out who the girl was. “Okay that was a funny time. And theres several more… maybe that time you got lost coming back to New York and ended up in the north pole?” she teased.

Her voice got caught in her throat as he looked at her. He looked angry, really angry. That was a side that didn’t come out very often, but when it did it was scary. Riker had done something to get rid of the boy even though Maddy had tried to stop him. Tears started to pool in her eyes as she moved her head up and down. It was his, and she had wished it was anyones but his. She sucked in a breath trying to hold back the tears. “I think I’m keeping it… i’ll be okay Riker. I will. Theres no way he’ll come back… I wont let him” A tear fell from her cheek as she stood in his arms. “I don’t know how to be a parent… but I can at least try my best… right?” the attempt to hold her emotions back failed once she started to cry again.

Ruby shrugged when Jordan said she was good with people. “Well, with you, I actually know what to talk about.” She said, smiling. She shook her head when Jordan asked if she wanted him to talk to Henry. “No, he’s not doing anything. Just let him be.” Ruby looked over at the circle of teens with the bottle in the middle, nodding when Jordan asked if she wanted to join. “Sure. Let’s go.” She said, walking over and sitting down. Daniel had gone to the middle, spinning the bottle. Ruby noticed that Dan had his hand held out to her, the bottle having stopped in front of her. She took his hand, standing up. It appeared they were playing Seven Minutes in Heaven. Ruby could feel Henry glaring at Dan, but she ignored it as they walked out of the gym.

As more people entered the school, Sadie noticed Ketziah looking around when standing next to her and she could see that the conversation was coming to an end. “So… I’ll, uh, see you around? It was really nice to meet you,” She said genuinely looking up and facing her with a smile, actually hoping to talk to her again and maybe become friends - rather than just saying it. Then after a moment, Sadie took a small step back, making sure this ending of conversation was mutual before the pair completely split off to find and talk to other people who had arrived for the lock-in.

While looking for someone else to talk to, she could see that everyone had started to come together and form a circle. Slowly joining this, and seeing the rapidly spinning bottle that everyone’s attention was on, Sadie quickly realised there was another group activity going on. More specifically: Seven Minutes in Heaven. She tried to be subtle as her shoulders tensed, remembering her very brief but… moderately significant… history with that game.

Though not long after she joined the circle, Sadie was surprised to see people were looking towards her as she realised it was her turn to spin the bottle had come. She cleared her throat before finally leaning forward and spinning the empty beer bottle that had been made the decider of their Seven Minutes in Heaven fate. The bottle spun for a long time, or at least it seemed long - perhaps drawn out from her nerves she wouldn’t admit she was having. As it started to slow down, she started to look at the faces the bottle started to point to, watching as it passed Valerie Wood, Riker Taylor, Dorian DeLoughrey… then it finally slowed to actually stop. Her eyes, as did everyone else’s, followed where the bottle was pointing, to see Jordan Williams.

Being on the list was the last thing he expected, but wanted - after kissing every single guy on the trip he deserved that. But knowing what most people thought of him, that wouldn’t last. No one would hesitate to take points from him like he didn’t with Elodie. A thing he regrets and hoped she’d never find out about, but luckily he had a good sister that was willing to forgive everyone, including him in that situation. That would really make his day if he didn’t have so many other things on his mind, mostly because of Emily. That girl just didn’t know how to stop bothering him, even after blocking her, she only knew how to ruin things. Well, one thing, and surprisingly he wasn’t the one who messed up.

After Elodie left and went on her mystery date, Dorian stayed at home for a few hours, doing absolutely nothing. With the lock-in happening soon he couldn’t really do much, just wait, so he decided to… go and help. Yes, Dorian helping organize everything. Who would’ve thought? If it meant he’d be distracted for a while it was a good thing. As he was about to leave his house, he felt his phone vibrating, making him immediately check what it was and what he saw brought a genuine smile to his face. A text from Sadie, congratulating him on getting on the list. Maybe it was a stupid thing, but it did make his day just a bit better.

Thank you :)

It was finally time for everyone to arrive, and sitting on a desk that was near the gym, Dorian spotted one of his teammates that missed the practice the other day, once again. “Jacob,” with a forced smile, he pushed himself off the desk and walked towards him, stopping him right in front of the door that leads to the gym. “Haven’t seen you in a while,” trying to say it in a joking way, he crossed his arms letting the man talk. As much as he could before being interrupted. Subtly rolling his eyes at what the person said, not paying attention to who it was and their voice, he mumbled, “It did, oops.” But shifting his gaze and finally seeing that it was Jessica, his expression softened. For a split second before taking a step back and putting on yet another fake smile, jokingly bowing. “Please, forgive us.”

Her eyes remained forward as she looked past his body - staying at the interior of the gym where people were gathering. Part of her didn’t want to look at him in the eyes; a small fear inside of her that he’d see past feigned expressions. She was p^ssed; there was no doubt about that - but not at him. Maybe more at herself… at Jessica Pierce in general. Everyone in the school already hated her; why not put another name on that list. It was just another name, another day; what difference did it bloody make? Hell - put her on the top of that list.

So as she stood there; she remained in a position unwilling to turn towards him. He was; after all, her former best friend. If there was anyone who used to be able to see through her; it was him. Whether this statement remained true - that was yet to be shown. Though she couldn’t help but roll her eyes at the sheer arrogance in the next statement. “I did, Oops.” People never change; if anyone should know that, it should be her. Though as she stood there waiting; she found him shuffling around from the corner of her eye - finally turning towards her body as he took a step away from the man he was talking to… who ironically took the sentiment ash his own escape. Seems like she wasn’t the only one not wanting to be in this conversation.

“Please, forgive us” she heard as he literally bowed - causing her to roll her eyes again. Jessica had half a mind to walk past him and ignore any other bright sentiments the man had to add - but something in her chest didn’t allow for it. Rather - she stopped - and finally turned towards his face; her features softening as she saw him - her mind picturing the moment in the woods that both of them had. “Us?” Jess mumbled - pointing towards where his friend had disappeared off to when Dorian was busy bowing and making a scene. “Seems like I’m not the only one avoiding you, Dorian” she finished - waiting until he stopped bowing to look up; her eyes meeting his for a mere second before she looked away… almost unwilling to look at him longer than that. Thinking that maybe… perhaps he’d see through the lies she put up.

Though she couldn’t walk away. Part of her wanted to… part of her wanted to walk into that auditorium and not look back but here she was. Standing with him - neither of them speaking for a moment. “You know what; actually I have so much more I have to get off my chest,” Jessica finally stated after a second - giving him a look. “And I rather do it alone if you don’t mind,” she sighed - walking back towards the way she came and opening up an empty classroom as she waited for him to enter. Once he did; Jess closed the door behind him and gave him a look. One that had a mix of… a lot of things. Confusion… annoyance…want… who the hell knew at this point.

“So the woods…” she started speaking - walking towards where he was leaning against a seat… standing next to him with her arms crossed… still not looking him in the eyes. “What did that mean?” Jessica finally started - waiting for him to say something. “Because I want to say it meant nothing - honestly I really hope it meant nothing… but part of me still wants to do this;” And with that, she approached him; placing her lips on his own as she pulled him in deeper into the kiss. Though as she kissed him; Jess pulled her shirt off - throwing it to the side pushing her body on his as she kissed him deeper. Though there was clearly something missing from her body - a tattoo noticeably missing from where he had last seen it.

Marie parked her car in the parking lot of Cerulean high, getting out of her car with her bag. She walked into the school, getting a drink at the drinking fountain before heading into the gym. She milled around for a bit, before joining the circle of people playing Seven Minutes in Heaven. She had never played the game before, but knew how it was played. She sat down, waving at Zion who was across the circle from her. She turned her attention to the game, wondering about who she’d end up with. Hopefully not a boy. She thought, chuckling.

Laugh. That’s all he did when he looked up, seeing his friend walking away from them. Jessica wasn’t wrong, she wasn’t the only one avoiding him but was that supposed to make him react a certain way? Maybe it wasn’t what he expected she would say but after what happened that wouldn’t be a surprise. And it wasn’t. But it did… maybe, just a bit, hurt. “Seems like you scare people,” he was quick to reply, a sarcastic smile on his lips, waiting for her reaction, something. But she only looked at him for a second, not any longer.

This wasn’t what he thought their first conversation after the trip would be like. He was hoping she would give him a chance to talk, explain what happened but not like this. Not this easy and not in a “let’s go to an empty classroom” way. But he followed her, no matter how much he was annoyed at her for just walking away from him that night. But getting in and leaning agaunst a seat, he stated quiet, waiting for her to speak up. She was the one that had so much to get off her chest. Is this the part when she would apologize? Not just for not listening to him that night but leaving, four years ago. Finally telling him why she did that?

His brows slightly furrowed when she ended up asked him what that night meant, trying to catch her gaze but she refused to look at him. “I don’t know what you want me to say when you obviously never gave me a chance to explain what happened after,” he quietly said with the same expression, carefully watching her every move. Followed by a chuckle when she said how it mean nothing… until she walked towards him and kissed him. Naturally he would kiss someone back right away but this was probably the first time he froze for a second. This really wasn’t what he thought would happen. Where was the fighting, trying to prove he didn’t do anything wrong, to prove it and they weren’t a mistake? A fight that would actually make them say everything they wanted? And he stayed like that, even when she pulled away to take off her shirt, his eyes fixed on hers in confusion. But it didn’t take him long to react. Making out with someone would always be better than fighting… especially if it was her. Which wasn’t something he would ever admit…

The moment she kissed him again and pushed her body on his, he placed his hand on her waist turning them both and pinning her against a wall, deepening the kiss. “If this is your way of apologizing, I li-“ whispering, he pulled back for a second with a playful smile, letting his gaze travel down her body before stopping at a certain part… where a tattoo should be. But it wasn’t. “Like it.” Mumbling, his smile disappearing as he slowly looked up to meet her eyes. Anna’s eyes. There was no word to describe how he felt in that moment. Crushed? Disappointed? Mad? Maybe all of that at once? Laughing, more at himself for how stupid he probably looked at that moment, he took a step back, crossing his arms and looking to the side. “I don’t remember you being so pathetic,” he finally spoke up, picking up her shirt that was on floor and throwing it at her. “Nice seeing you again, Anna,” with that he simply walked away from her, out of the classroom, not caring to listen to what she wanted to say next.

“It was, wasn’t it?”
”Absolutely” he said as a smile stayed on his face, watching her as she spoke.

”That sounds perfect” he said as she mentioned an upcoming fair they could to to and recreate it ”No dropping phones” he said putting his hand on his heart ”…Hopefully” he then added quietly with a smirk.

He nodded in agreement to her next statement, but didn’t really reply to it in words and rather preferred to roll with a change in the topic of the conversation .
“I do too. I believe we are doing Seven minutes in heaven? I overheard some people talking about it.”
”seven minutes in heaven… interesting” he said ”I also think they’re gathering around about now so we could go if you want” he said looking at people walking
