Edgar had nodded when Albina agreed. There must be mutual love and trust in a relationship. If there was none, there was no relationship. He then smiled when she called his awkward side a quirk. ”Thank you greatly. I do try to jest and lighten the scenes when needed, yet it does not always come to be. I believe my stoicism was inherited from my father. It appears to be a trait of Bavarians. I do not see it as a hinderance, yet rather a boon. I am not moved to react brashly in the moment. I am one to think things through and not to panic.” He smiled when Albina mentioned that she wished he could soon see people as intriguing as books. ”I thank you, Lady Albina. I shall take that into account. Humans are rather unpredictable, I do not disagree. That is what makes them interesting. If it would not be frowned upon, I would much like to study others ti understand them better. Observe them in their natural habitats, so they say.” When Albina said the question he wished to pose was alright, he continued. ”If you were aware that your death would be soon, would you tell your family? Would you do anything you had never done before, knowing you did not have much time left? Apologies if this question was distressing. I simply was curious.”
