Well, it could’ve been any number of things:

  • William could’ve fallen onto chemicals and was electrocuted while trying to save his uncle
  • the electricity passed through something where it could’ve picked up or lost electrons and by the time it electrocuted William, the electricity bonded to him on a molecular level.
  • any kind of exposure to certain particles or radiation when electrocuted
  • etc

So, really anything that was present that could’ve changed the outcome from death to gaining powers.

Hey guys so I’ll do the time skip to a normal day, the only thing that’s stopping me now is the fact that some people may have not done their tasks yet and would like to do them. Please let me know before tomorrow. If not, then I’ll do the time skip tomorrow.
