Personality: Arum is a curious and analytical person. They are determined with their work and pride themselves on getting down to the truth. They can get frustrated when their leads dry up, which happens a lot when in Algereh. Arum likes to go for walks to cool off. If they’re not pursuing something, they can be easily distracted by beautiful sights. Arum tries to keep their insecurities hidden as best they can, but sometimes they control their actions. They are reckless too and are always asking the wrong people at the wrong time as long as they can get to the bottom of the truth.
Backstory: When Arum was a kid, they had a relatively average life. However, every vacation off of work their parents got, they would get dragged with their parents. But, Arum had always enjoyed these trips, so they never objected. Unfortunately, happy days never last forever. One day their mother was sent by her job to go out to the no-mans-land for research purposes. It was dangerous, but they treated people in that research facility well. So, when she went off, she gave Arum a camera. Arum took a photo of her for a before picture as she instructed. Arum’s mother then said they could take an after picture when she returned to see how much food she stuffed herself with at the base. She hasn’t returned since. Arum’s father wasn’t a deadbeat though, he picked up the slack and raised Arum best he could. Arum was grateful to their father because this allowed Arum to chase after their dream of becoming an investigative journalist to hopefully uncover mysteries like the one about their mother’s disappearance.
Desc: Short hair made out of wide leaves that reach to the halfway point of their ears. Pink flower-like eyes, that when dilated, look like an unbloomed flower with a black sclera. Light grass-colored skin. 5’8. Arum also wears a bronze locket under their shirt.
