Personality: Helen is a bit of a workaholic, she trains hard and works hard in school, and tends to do well in most (if not all) things that she tries. Most people say she is a show-off, but in her eyes she isn’t because she won’t ever talk about her achievements unless someone actually asks her, and maybe not even then.
However, she isn’t all about that stuff, there’s a side of her that she hides from the world. The one that tends to only come out when she’s either really happy, or at a party with people she likes. Helen is a full-on party animal and won’t ever refuse a dare from anyone, unless it will harm her physically. She will do many things to please others, because she doesn’t like the feeling that she’s letting people down. Even if they have told her they aren’t disappointed, she won’t believe it and tends to beat herself up over the tiniest of mistakes.
Helen doesn’t like letting people in either. She isn’t the best at hiding her emotions, and usually you can tell when something is wrong because she will be easily angered and probably quite upset, but she will rarely say what it is that’s bothering her.
Biography: Born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, Helen has lived there her whole life. She went to a semi-decent public school in town and did a lot of clubs outside of school, including swimming- the thing that got her a place at this academy (even though her grades were probably good enough too), Helen has been swimming competitively since she was 7 years old, and swam at her first ever national meet at only 11 years old.
She is now a national champion with more than 26 medals for various different events in the pool, a result of the vigorous, tiring and sometimes excruciating training she decides to put herself through on a day-to-day basis. Helen was going to apply to the university of Glasgow, but once she heard about this school, she didn’t hesitate to send in her application form. As soon as she was accepted into the school, she starting packing her things and preparing. Helen flew across from Britain to America to be there, putting all her eggs in one basket in the hope that this academy could be the thing she needs to make a mark on the world.
