My mom doesn’t swear, and my dad only swore when he was extremely angry, so I never picked up the habit of swearing. I just feel uncomfortable with it. I usually say ‘freakin’ instead of the ‘eff word’ and ‘crap’ instead of the ‘s’ word.
I don’t like swear words in songs, either, but if I really like the song, I’ll look for the clean version. If it’s minor, I’ll just change the word when singing along.

I think swearing is just a bad habit, some people have it some people don’t.

I never swear/curse, I never feel the need to, my parents usto always swear/curse at each other and even at me, I guess I just didn’t like it and never picked up on the bad habits they had.

I used to feel uncomfortable swearing in front of others (or alone) because it made me sound stupid. But ever since 2017, I’ve been swearing as if it was a natural habit of mine, and I’m only a teenager! I try my best to keep my voice low whenever my mom is around because there would be times where I swear too loud and she’d hear me.:joy: I gotta be more careful. I bet by the time I’m 21 I’ll swear around my whole family naturally (right after they laugh at me for doing so)

Swearing gets frustrations out, but I’m uncomfortable and I feel guilty saying even the smallest one. I don’t like profanities and I don’t know why :cowboy_hat_face:

Nah, the 60% of my vocabulary contains swearing…except when i am in front of my dad then i feel uncomfortable saying certain words lol imma get whooped.
