This is the first featured story that I am reading in months because of the gem choices featured stories contains. But, I had to suck it up this time because one of my favorite popular author had her story featured. I’m honestly happy for that author :slight_smile: I do think this is a very unique story, and it’s very interesting. Even though the gem choices may hurt me a bit because I don’t have a lot of gems, it’s still not stopping me from reading this story.

Disclaimer: This is a thread on the Episode forums, so I figured I’d make this thread on here as well.

I love dirty dancing and what she did with the story! Unfortunately it’s too stressful for me to read, but I still think its great.

I don’t know what Dirty Dancing is, but I know it’s an old movie (everybody seems to love it so much). So reading this story kind of tells me what the movie is about.

I hated that Dirty Dancing contest and most of the stories about it. The premise and plots were all the same. Boring, just boring. All boring…

I know this is the “Austentatious” featured story but, still–boring. And you know, has sex. There’s nothing I really find interesting with these stories. I just wish Episode would instead make featured authors make a new story to be featured instead of featuring an already made story, @EliseC and @ELx suggested this.

I agree that it’s weird that they rewrite stories that were already written and had a lot of reads.
I get it, just weird.

Can i get a fantasy story like this
Without it being MC having to be sexual to show how “ahead of her time she is”

Or having the guys always scoff at “a woman reading”

Like can the guys be normal and the girls be not sexual/be modest

I already see where this story is going and ik im not gonna like it…shame cuz the outfits/music and backrounds are beautiful

It’s annoying how stories in these times always use the LL as the ONLY MAN THAT NEVER SCOFFS A WOMEN, but every other male in the story does.

Not only is that stupid but unrealistic. Most men were sexist. You weren’t safe from no remarks of men demeaning women. That’s why I don’t like romance stories based on very far in the past.
