He placed one hand on his hip and checked his wrist on his other. Is it time to leave yet?, he thought to himself. Nope. I’m being annoyed. He threw his head back in annoyance when the oddly robotic-looking teacher looked at Nikki and said, “That is a very interesting contraption. Though I do not know if you are allowed to use it in the hallways.”
“Why?”, Nikko retorted. “Don’t you think I got permission to do so? 'Course I did, the Grimm guy said it was fine if I did. Don’t you worry about me.”
A tubby girl entered behind him, who Nikko didn’t bother paying any attention to. She didn’t reply out loud to the teacher, simply smiled before finding her seat.
Niko gave the teacher a wink. “If you want one,” he was talking about his broom. “You can find one in any good storage cupboard in the school, I’m sure.”
