Jayden nodded, confirming everything. They were sisters. Some might not assume that at first glance-but if you looked past the difference in style and a few other details, they were almost eerily similar. They inhaled at the same time-only making the situation more crazy. "“I… I guess I am. If she’s my mom, and yours, then I guess we must be sisters. Wow… I definitely didn’t expect this when I woke up this morning, or well… ever.” Jayden nodded again as she spoke-she still sounded as if she were in disbelief. Though Cara’s expression grew more and more shocked, her eyes widening and her mouth popping open, her body felt frozen in place, her shoes felt frozen to the floor. Was this really happening? “I wasn’t either…” She said, sounding less bubbly than usual-not because she wasn’t happy about this, but because she was still numb with shock. She looked at Jayden with a new kind of warmth in her chocolate-colored eyes. “…Wow…” She didn’t know what to say. Although she had never lost Jayden, she felt as if she had finally found her. “…Can I hug you?” She asked.

Though César had decided to try, he didn’t look comfortable with his decision in the very least. And Jakob’s reassurance only made him tighten his grip, his knuckles whitening. A blush was visible on his cheeks, though nowhere near as visible as his sunny smile. César’s grip on Jakob’s waist tightened, and he didn’t look embarrassed about it. Though this was probably because he was too focused on getting onto the stairwell. Jakob obviously didn’t mind either.
It was hard to focus on César’s face while he was bolting away, though it looked like his mouth was open, perhaps in awe. Jakob looked very pleased with himself, feeling as if he had impressed César. Though, right as he stopped, César almost fell off the railing. Luckily, his grasp was tight and he was able to see himself. “Oof.” Jakob said, realizing it was likely not a good idea to expect César to be able to do this right away. Neither was leaving him to fend for himself, obviously. “You’re a horrible, maniacal, sadistic, reckless, careless, petulant little child.” Even though his words were spiteful, he looked more afraid than angry, his peachy skin had paled to become chalk white. Jakob slid down the railing the correct way, as quickly as he had slid up-not to show off this time, but because he wanted to get to César as quickly as he could.
“I think that’s the biggest insult you’ve ever given me.” He noted, seemingly unfazed as he came to a stop next to César . “Good save there.” He complimented César on his quick reflexes, who seemed to slouch further into the stairway after he said this. He wanted to tell him that if he straightened his posture, it would be easier, but didn’t want to be… petulant. He didn’t apologize for zooming away either-it had been pretty epic and he didn’t apologize.
“Indirectly.” César admitted, causing a small crease to form between Jakob’s orange-tinted brows. “I have money from Marc’s doings, money which he gained from all the awful things the Erlking makes him do.” Jakob was pretty surprised to hear this, though his expression stayed glued like a mask to his face, hiding his shock. Babyfaced, golden-haired, light-eyed César looked so innocent, not like the child of the malicious creature he had heard so many bedtime stories about. He didn’t know what to say-a joke, it was bad timing. And an apology…for what? “And you still only have one uniform?” He half muttered, half asked.
Hmph. He raised his chin, then laughed, changing the topic. “Well, don’t just stand there.” Jakob raised an eyebrow, staring at him blankly-he wasn’t even standing. “Happy thoughts aren’t going to come on their own after bringing up that horrible being I have as a father. Since you’re responsible for that question, you should at least come down and help me.” So he was unhappy Jakob brought that up, though he was so poised Jakob hadn’t even noticed. César held out his hand. “Well? Come on.” Jakob scooched a bit closer to him. He didn’t know what to do with the hand, so he gave César a soft-high five before looking thoughtful. The things that made him happy would likely not make César happy as well. “Alright, alright.” Jakob said, scratching the back of his neck. “Though I don’t even know where to start. You’ve not really shown me ‘happy César’.” He’d seen p^ssed César for sure.

“I’m not, 'm not insecure, I’ll have you know, I’m not.”
”I didn’t say you were” he responded to the boy who was clearly very agitated by the original statement ”I said that if you don’t let people get to you, you have no reason to be. Doesn’t mean you’re doing it, more in general” Kieran told him, kind of sliding it though by the way he snapped it wasn’t hard to see how being called insecure bothered him quite a lot.
“I don’t know, I don’t have any, I just want to get through school.”
”And after school? You can’t not have anything you like or want. What do you do when classes are over? Free time” he asked him, trying to understand, because that part really seemed to be something he couldn’t read about him, and it interested him.

The student looked bored, even checking his wrist as if he had a watch. If he did, 3arl couldn’t tell. He looked more annoyed than bored when 3arl spoke to him, which took away from his smile. Did this student already dislike him? "Why? Don’t you think I got permission to do so? 'Course I did, the Grimm guy said it was fine if I did. Don’t you worry about me.” His eyes seemed to grow wider with a bit of understanding. “I did not know this.” They told the blonde, Headmaster Grimm seemed pretty firm with the rules. And they knew lots of the teachers-especially Ms. Rossum had yelled at students for doing anything other than walking in the hallways. However, there were always exceptions, maybe this was the only way he could get around. After processing for a bit, 3arl continued, “Well, then by all means, continue to use it.” They hoped that the other students did not mind this exception. “If you want one,” he was talking about his broom. “You can find one in any good storage cupboard in the school, I’m sure.” The boy informed him. 3arl wondered if that’s where he got his. “I think that might be a bit dangerous for me.” 3arl replied. “But thank you for that information, I do appreciate it.”

Caspian’s reply to him talking about not saying much to Hades left him curious and a little puzzled, though it didn’t reflect past the gloominess that was his face. All she said was, “That’s good.” Nothing more.
“What is good? It’s good that I said nothing more than a few words to Hades, Lord of the Underworld?”, Syrus asked, hoping deep inside for more of an answer to give him a few more answers as to how the living think.
“Oh no!”, Caspian cried out in horror when he spoke of his father’s advice. “How so?!”
Neither Syrus’ head nor voice lifted with his reply, “Well, I’ve told you, haven’t I? I’ve told you that I can sense death, which is what my father warned me not to do.”

Rory was trying to keep his fantasies and the reality apart when it came to Kellan but it was hard because despite knowing each other for such a shot time it felt like they had know each other their whole lives but Rory still got butterflies in his stomach from Kellan. Rory keep focused and just kept smiling at Kellan because Kellan just made him smile and that was that. Rory knew it was obvious that he wasn’t really paying attention but he was sure he would be fine as long as he didn’t miss out on what the assignments were. Rory played with his septum ring little nervous as Kellan responded. He didn’t know how Kellan would take the date thing. When Kellan passed the note back Rory opened it quickly and smiled as he read it. “Yeah I should change too.” Rory whispered. -You know my dorm room number though? Right? Rory wrote back as he smiled. Based off that Rory was thinking Kellan took it the way he wanted and this was going to be a real deal date. Low key but real deal.

She continued to practice while Lorelai spoke, not meeting her eyes until she made a comment about her father. “What? Why would he care about me asking what it means? He loves when I ask questions. I don’t get it. Should I not know what it means?” She asked, still flipping off the air in front of her. Lorelai’s mouth gaped like that of a goldfish-her eyes bulged as well. So she was really oblivious? Lorelai had thought it was an act…but she was quickly changing her mind on that. She thought about it. She supposed it was impolite, and most parents wouldn’t want their kids to know this-protecting their minds as long as they could. She shook her head, asking, “I haven’t. Is that what it’s called?” She then turned in her seat, flipping off Lorelai. Lorelai looked very amused at this, now that she felt sure this was not an act. She wasn’t really offended, she flipped people off all the time, and got flipped off all the time as well. She also flipped off her friends on a regular basis. “I thought it was just a middle finger, does it have a different name where you’re from? Does it mean something special?” Lorelai let the girl ask some questions, and then said, “This isn’t really the kind of question you’d ask your dad, sweetheart.” She began to explain, her tone saucy. She shrugged, “I mean, how old are you? Probably old enough to know.” She sighed, this would be hard to explain, when she couldn’t even use the word f-ck. “You know when you hate someone? Or they make you upset?” She looked contemptuously at the woman she had flipped off while saying this. “Then you might flip them off. Give them the bird. There’s lots of names.” She continued, “I mean, you can also flip off your friends for fun, or when they annoy you.” She finally ended with, “It has many uses, really.”

Though Blue wasn’t looking at him, he still saw the smile that Laurie was giving him after saying that he knew he was nice just by the way Blue had acted towards him these past nine minutes and 34 seconds. “Your smile is nice. I should say thank you for that compliment you gave me.” Blue wasn’t smiling nor looking directly at him, but the compliment, and though he didn’t actually thank him, this was Blue’s way of doing so.
Laurie then went on about the two of them getting to know each other. Answering Blue’s questions about friends and his favourite colour. “Who is your roommate? Are they nice?”", Blue asked. “Yes. I like blue. All its shades are very calming and there’s nothing scary about the colour blue.”

ONYX
“This is my first year, but I’ve been reading up on it and been trying to explore the school head-to-toe. I If you wanted you could join me.”
Onyx grimaced. Ah jesus, what have I done? “Maybe.” They replied shortly, tucking their head down and making sure to steer clear of every other human in their path. Despite the annoying drone of this guy’s voice, Onyx could not allow him to distract them enough that they allowed themselves to be surprised by some other person. It was most certainly unfortunate that Elliot was as new as they were, but maybe his chatterboxiness would be something that Onyx could use to their advantage.
“Sometimes it’s nice to be tall. I could spot you very easily. But then again, everyone else can see see me. But I’m not quite as tall as my dad, I’m only 5’11 and he’s 6’3.”
That was not good. “I don’t want to be spotted,” Onyx muttered through gritted teeth. They would have to work on being inconspicuous here. Back home, the best way for Onyx to avoid notice was to make themselves as small as possible, avoiding all eye contact and acting like a rat, rather than a human. Here… They truly didn’t know. They were a fish out of water, and while the view was nice, they hadn’t learned how to breath yet.
“If we go around those students we might make it before the group ahead of us”
Onyx started as Elliot made a beeline around a large group of students. Barely thinking, Onyx darted after him, following close on his heels. Elliot took that moment to ask Onyx’s favourite food, sharing his own in the process.
“Uhm…” This is where they lie. “I like bread.” They said, unsure about their answers. In truth, Onyx didn’t have a favourite food. If it was edible, they ate it, and that was that. There were no ‘favourites’ involved. “What is Venison?” They asked carefully. What does he mean about hunting? It sounds like a good way to get food. Onyx kept this query to themselves, however.
Onyx darted up to the canteen, surprised at the array of food. It took every ounce of their willpower not to grab everything they could and make a run for it. There were no streets to hide from angry victims here. Onyx had to be careful. Eventually, they got a few slices of toast, deciding to support their claim of liking bread. Onyx also picked up some orange juice, marvelling at how clean everything was. As the canteen lady asked for money, Onyx looked at Elliot, a hint of fear in their eyes. Now would be the time that he would abandon them, most likely. Fool them into taking the food and then abandon them at the last minute. It had happened before. I swear to god if he doesn’t pay I’ll pummel the guy into the ground.

COLM MCCANN
“Thanks you have offered me a lot already and I feel like Im giving you nothing in return though.” Colm shrugged.
“I’m sure I’ll think of something,” He said, laughing. “In all seriousness though, your company is enough for now. Olive is great, but she is exhausting, unlike you.” He didn’t expect Brooks to be a ‘pub person’. Those places were reliably loud, chaotic and full of drunk people. The smell of drink negated any temptation for Colm, which was half the reason they loved it there.
'Your really nice Colm. Im pretty shocked your not like the popular guy around here already."
“Ahh there’s plenty of time for that,” Colm replied, chuckling. “You’d be surprised at how little people tend to like kelpies, anyway. No matter how high we pull our auras, they’ll usually find a reason to be scared.”
Colm quietened as they noticed Brooks starting to not off.
“We’ve got a sleeper” He whispered, resisting the urge to laugh out loud. He found it quite funny how human’s could just… lose consciousness without dying first. It was quite risky, all things considered. If something happened in the night you wouldn’t be even aware of it, nevermind able to do anythign.

Elliot moved forward, also grabbing orange juice. Elliot shuffled forward, careful not to step on anyone with his big feet. He studied his new friend with curiosity, watching him move his orange juice. snapping him back into reality the canteen lady asked again for money. “Oh sorry,” Elliot glanced at Onyx “I’m paying.” He said brightly to the lady in front of him. Fumbling in his pocked, he manged to drop most of it. quickly picking it up, he put it on the counter so waiting for the lady to count it. “You can find a spot if you don’t want to wait for me.” Elliot said, smiling.

Well, at least Jakob had the decency to aid him immediately, César appreciated as the other student slid back down. He folded his legs over the railing, expectantly gazing at the approaching figure; and his expression morphed into one of shock as Jakob visibly did not seem to be stopping. Before César could even think about moving, the impish, freckled face took up nearly the entirety of his vision, leaving him to feel the air brush his silken hair back from the moment.
“In Denmark,” said César complacently, “the other children did not wear a uniform. I think it was better. I wouldn’t have thought of getting varying sets of the same clothing…” His lips momentarily sealed as leather-clad arm pressed against his, and he lifted a brow at Jakob with contempt. It was too heavy of a press to be sensual, and still-
Smack.
César’s eyes widened as he heard -and felt- his hand being batted away, visible offence setting and staying in his expression. He glared daggers at Jakob then, feeling all the more distraught when he noticed that the latter was visibly indifferent to it. And yet Jakob still payed attention. It felt strange to César, maybe even paradoxical. From the moment they’d begun talking, Poil de Carotte had picked apart his behaviour, discarding a vast majority of his reactions, but still listening to each and every of his statements attentively. Really, César hadn’t expected this sort of maturity to hide behind Jakob’s generally clownish attitude. It didn’t help that the latter had that look in his eyes that made it look like he had taken too much caffeine.
It made him want to make a small effort.
“The time I had away from the Erlking was good.” César’s face lit up a little, memories of sunny days -and one particular night- in the nearest town flashing to mind. In that moment, he suddenly felt lighter on the ramp, his hip pressing into Jakob’s a little.
And that completely shattered the illusion. Not exactly appreciating the loss of control over his body, César swung his hands back to grip Jakob’s waist as he sank back into the ramp. “No, I don’t like it,” he stated loudly. “This is a terrible, terrible idea. You go up now, chop chop. I’ll hold on to you.”

Caspian had to consider their words carefully, they definitely didn’t want to offend the Lord of the Underworld, or speak too much. “I think so.” Caspian said at first, emphasizing the ‘I’ to show other people might think differently. “The more I say, the more likely it is I will make the other person mad.” They explained this again, using I to show this was from their personal experience. They hoped this answer would please Syrus, and was not too wordy. “Well, I’ve told you, haven’t I? “You don’t know what venison is?”
Onyx shook their head, doing their best to be pleasant. They needed Elliot to like them if they were to use them, after all. From experience Onyx knew the best way to do that was to keep the other person talking. Keep all topics away from Onyx’s life and on the other person’s instead.
“venison is deer, you know those maybe three feet creatures with antlers… you probably know what they are.”
They couldn’t resist. Onyx rolled their eyes, slightly exasperated with Elliot already. “Yes, I know what deer are. Just didn’t think that people actually ate them.” Next thing you know he’ll be telling them that he ate swan too.
Luckily for Elliot, he decided to pay in the end. Good boy.
“You can find a spot if you don’t want to wait for me.”
Nodding, Onyx darted off into the crowds, looking for a table with no one occupying it. It didn’t take long for one to be found, and they sat in it, beginning to tear apart the toast and eat it slowly, resisting the temptation to devour the meal in moments. Their initial use for Elliot had been completed… but maybe he’d be able to fund more meals? That would be good. After a moment’s thought, Onyx decided that they would continue with the ‘being nice’ ruse, and hopefully weasel a few more meals out of this guy.
As Elliot finally approached the table where Onyx sat, they muttered a “Thank you,” to him, as sincerely as they could. No one said thanks where they lived. They took and they ran, so the words were… unfamiliar on their tongue to say the least.

Elliot took a stance and scanned the students in the room. Despite the fact that his height helped him identify people, he couldn’t pinpoint Onyx’s location since everyone was dressed the same… Not to mention the fact that his newest peer was at least a head shorter than the majority of his classmates. His memory was fine, but not as good as that of his sisters, whom he admired. After a few wrong turns, Elliot finally made his way to Onyx. “I’m sorry,” he began, before hearing a hushed “Thank you.” Elliot flashed a warm grin as he swirled his orange juice. “Say, I know it’s none of my business,” Elliot started, than stopped, pondering how he would say this in a non-rude manner. “I’m aware that some students actively avoid or hate this topic, but,” Elliot was almost scared to ask, not wanting to offend anyone at the school, “Whose kid are you, anyways? I’m sure a lot of the students here have incredible or legendary parents… or parents. Mine is Little John, Robin Hood’s companion.” Elliot felt better for letting it out, but nervous and awkward for blabbing it like that. “I know a lot of people feel like they’re in the shadow of their parent, so you don’t have to tell me… but umm… sorry for asking if you don’t want to” Elliot started tapping his foot nervously, waiting for a readable emotion from Onyx.

She frowned before replying, "Trust me the last thing I wanted to do was have a princess lifestyle, and run around feeling these feelings.”
With his arm still wrapped around her, holding her tightly into him, he moved his other arm up. Brushing his fingers up against her neck until he reached her jaw, where he cupped it in his hand. Not really knowing what he was doing, it was like his body had his mind to itself. His deep voice perhaps got a little flirty, “Is that what you call this feeling, the princess lifestyle?”
Coco then placed her hand back on his chest. "Ervic, you act like you’re trying to make me a better person, and that’s not true it’s just I enjoy your company. I know we both had other plans, but that doesn’t mean we can’t accomplish it.”
There was a small close-mouthed chuckle behind his smirk. “I would never, nor would I ever make you feel like a princess. Maybe an evil witch queen, if you like to feel like one? I was only mentioning a thought, that if I hadn’t then this wouldn’t be happening. I wonder if I still have these… cravings for some… one.”
"We are playing a reckless game, but if you really regret…this? We can cool off?”
Ervic held her tighter into him, pressing her hand firmer into his chest and making it near impossible for her to escape his grasp. “Who mentioned regret?” His gaze went to her hand on his racing heart before locking back on her eyes. “Never regret anything. If I did, I wouldn’t have met with you this morning.”

Jakob slid closer and closer to César’s expectant face, halting right when their noses were only several inches apart. This was mostly because moving so quickly, it was difficult to put on the breaks. But he didn’t really mind them being so close. For a moment, the other boy looked worried they were going to collide, but he wasn’t that reckless. The air from his sudden stop made César’s golden locks shift a bit, though Jakob’s cropped scarlet hair stayed in place.
Denmark? That’s cool. Jakob thought, his lips twisting into a smirk. He waited for César to finish speaking about the uniforms before replying with his best Danish accent-which was not horrible, but definitely exaggerated. “If you don’t want to wear a uniform, just don’t. Like me.” He suggested. César didn’t seem like a huge rebel…but he had already broken several school rules with Jakob in the past several minutes. So, it was a valid suggestion. At least, in Jakob’s eyes.
He was looking at Jakob-annoyed, like usual. But his eyes widened, and he looked angry, even, when Jakob gave him a high five. His fiery eyes pierced into Jakob’s. “Too good for high fives?” Jakob asked him, in a joking way, even though he found it strange César looked so upset. Maybe he found the whole thing childish.
“The time I had away from the Erlking was good.” His expression became lighter, as he seemed to think back on those times. He looked nice this way, and Jakob’s smile softened noticeably-it was always nice to see the look on people’s face when they thought happy thoughts. Though it became more of a smirk when his hip pressed into Jakob’s more. He nodded encouragingly…until César stopped.
He could tell the happy thoughts escaped César 's mind when his body seemed to become limp, his spine hunching. He gripped onto Jakob’s waist as he did so. “No, I don’t like it.” Jakob frowned at this-the frown having a sympathetic edge to it-an expression unusual for Jakob. He began to ask why, but César gave him an order. “This is a terrible, terrible idea. You go up now, chop chop. I’ll hold onto you.” Jakob looked like he was about to protest, he wanted to ask what had happened-why he’d given up. But César seemed pretty firm in his words, anyways, and he didn’t really hate the whole holding onto you thing. “Alright, alright.” He wrapped his arm around César’s shoulder, pulling him even closer than they already were. Pumping the other fist outword, he declared, “Hold on tight!” Before going up the ramp almost as fast as he could.

The boy seemed to understand what Gregorio, which made one of them, as Gregorio rarely understood himself 90% of the time. “I have advanced math, advanced literature, Kingdom History and Management, Advanced Chemystry, basic light magic, Art, Fashion Design and Cosmetology…don’t ask, and Languages and Cultures,” Ji-Woo explained. “Oh, I never got your name. I’m Ji-Woo.”
When Ji-woo recited what classes he had, making Gregorio realise what a bad student he was. As he had only written down his first four classes and had no idea what his others were, he hadn’t even memorised those four. “…We only have this class together, and uh… I don’t know what my other classes are. Hi, I’m Gregorio, Gregorio Wood.” He gave Ji-Woo a awkward half wave.

Literature Classroom
Quill sat there watching and listening as the teacher handed a stack of papers to a student she didn’t care for. As she got hers, she looked down to see the teacher discussing the same topic on the paper - Back to School Dance Formal. She observed how some students’ eyes lit up, while others simply gazed at it indifferently. Quill glanced around to see if anyone had heard when she unintentionally scoffed. She put the paper down after deciding she didn’t want to go. As the class progressed, she couldn’t help but remember how some of the students’ eyes glinted… With a smirk on her face as she reconsidered her decision to go, she had a humorous anecdote about a certain someone. She shook herself out of it and returned her attention to the class. Choosing this year to be her era.
