As Neisha chuckled to her reply, sarcastically replying to her once more, Bai-San gave in with a small laugh as she remains to her usual grace, “So you are illiterate? Not to sound mean-spirited of course. I know a few who can speak eloquently and fluently, that is poetic in itself, my dear. Language is this poem we speak of, you know. If you cannot express your words with such dignity…” As Bai-san paused to rethink of what she would say, she continued on with her short pause, “Well, I shall not underestimate you. You might be a literate person. Or not.”
As she looked through the side of Neisha, she saw her sighed and gave her some… friendly advice, as Bai-San would giggle at. As she doesn’t take all of advises too seriously, she found her advice quite understanding yet shallow as she has seen patterns of what is to come in these sort of advice. With a weak grin to her face, she replies back, “But what is life without enemies? No matter how noble you are, you are destined to be faced with an enemy. And that is why I simply do not care, especially to the way I talk. If they like me, they like me. If they don’t, so be it. And I will not change my way of talk, unless there is a good reason to.”
With that aside, she continued on to her speech as she looked at Neisha as she was quite amused with the slow simmer of rage inside her. She had kept hidden this amusement by slowly placing a handkerchief in her face as to conceal such a grin. With her inspection of her calming down, she noticed that she went quiet for a while. Surprising, yet expected to a person calming themselves. As she replied back to her question, she thought this would also be appropriate to also tell her origins, “Interesting… I’m from China. Let’s just say I once live close to the heart of the country. Calm and grand, I have met interesting people there.”
As she stretched herself, preparing for the teacher to come by, she gave a sly grin to Neisha as she gave her remarks, “This is quite an interesting talk. I find you such an interesting spirit, not enough to tempt me but enough to keep me entertained. And if you are pleased to meet with me, I shall pray it be of good cause and personality. If not, I’ll keep a distance to find your inner peace. But otherwise, this is quite a conversation I’ll remember for my first day. Anyways, I sense the teacher coming in. Feel free to talk more, or not. It shall be your decision.”
