Yes you may! 
We are continuing from the RP on the Episode forums :))) So it’s still the first day, you can introduce them now! In a week, it will be the first day of classes so you can introduce them then, too. You can always add new characters, even when it is the middle of the school year :DDD

I’d do that too, but I just find it weird and off-putting and weird to me. Which is weird to say since one of my old, old friends from Episode was actually a non-gender. A boy who was taking hormones and wanted to be called she/her and she was not only buillied for it, but she said somebody tried to run her over for it.
