Note: so cos the story my char is from is a Japanese tale, my character’s ethnicity and heritage us thus Japanese.
However would it be okay, if my character just spoke English, as I do not know any Japanese and would rather not risk using translate.
I will be doing some research but is there anything before hand that I need to make note of in terms of BG (background/backstory)? Lest I do something offensive due to my lack of knowledge on the subject?
