Song sixteen:

  1. In Australia, the song was number one for one week in December 1983 and became one of the highest selling singles of 1984.
  2. The song appeared in the 2023 Netflix documentary miniseries Beckham, showing David Beckham and his wife Victoria Beckham dancing to it.
  3. Named after an Ernest Hemingway novel, the song was originally written for Diana Ross in an R&B style but later reworked for the duet with different artists.
  4. Rogers and Parton went on to record a Christmas album together and had an additional hit with their 1985 duet “Real Love”.

Song seventeen: Too Late

  1. The lyrics of the song depict a dysfunctional and hedonistic relationship the artist had with a former lover, with him apologising for the mistakes he’d made throughout their romance.
  2. The studio version of the song was then released on March 20, 2020, alongside the rest of the album.
  3. The video begins with an NSFW warning due to its “explicit content” and its depiction of “graphic violence” as well as being age-restricted on YouTube based on the apps’ community guidelines.

  2. Marilyn Manson recorded a cover of the song for his 1995 EP Smells Like Children.
