The first thing Enid did as she arrived at Hogwarts was go to the library. Enid loved the library, the smell of books, the silence and all the fun funky things you could find there. Enid remember studying with all her friends, they would gather around each other and ask questions. One of her friends who was a Gryffindor would be busy playing with their books instead of studying and Enid would giggle at that. She really missed her friends and couldn’t wait to see them again.
She dropped her things on the table and brought out a book she had with her, “The tales of Magic” a famous muggle book about magic, she loves to read what muggles imagined magic is like, muggles who were still in the dark of magic existence . Enid thought of it as fascinating, well she thought of a lot of things as fascinating “And so the bird turned into a flower.” Enid read out loud, “And the flower was just as majestic as the bird” Enid clapped finishing the book. The book was strange yet interesting, something Enid liked.
Enid carefully closed the book she was reading and dropped it in a bag she brought with her. She walked to the Reference Section and closed her eyes and pointed at one, in order to choose which book she would read. She looked at the book, it was titled Updated Counter-Curse Handbook- Enid smiled and walked back to her table, carrying the book in her hands. She opened the first book and the usual warning that is written at the first page of every Hogwarts book appeared
'“A warning: If you rip, tear, shred, bend, fold, deface, disfigure, smear, smudge, throw, drop, or in any other manner damage, mistreat, or show lack of respect towards this book, the consequences will be as awful as it it within my power to make them.”
Enid couldn’t imagine why someone would rip a page from a book, when they could simple take a picture with it, write it down or use magic to write it down somewhere in your body instead of disrespecting the precious books.
