Harry Potter Munchkin - 7th Year Girls

As the school year began once more, Esther found it hard to be believe that this would be her last. Hogwarts was like a second home to her. She’d made many friends throughout the years, as well as a few enemies that couldn’t stand her, for reasons unknown to her.

After the first years had been sorted, Esther headed straight to the grand hall. She had no patience for the sorting events that took place every year. Though, as much as she hated to admit it, she always looked forward to seeing new additions to the Gryffindors. She was hoping their house grew bigger, becoming the best of them all.

Eating with other students wasn’t something she looked forward to. Hearing people chew and the disorder of the hall drove her mad. It wasn’t like she had much of a choice, though. Despite that, she looked forward to seeing her friends, seeing what had changed since the previous year.

Her friends hadn’t arrived yet, though it was understandable for them. They always skipped the sorting, arriving to the feast much later. They were all Gryffindors, so Esther didn’t have to worry about tables. She refused to socialize too much with people from other houses, believing she’d be in better company among Gryffindors.

Setting her food in front of her, she grabbed hold of a napkin, folding it into origami out of boredom.

They better come quick…
