I don’t think so. The only person I call mom would be my aunt (used to) and my grandma…

Never. None of my teachers looked/sounded like my mum. 
I know friends who have done that but I don’t think I ever did that in school.

I have before, several times. I used to do it a lot when I was younger, I would just run up to the teacher to ask a question and the first thing that came out was “mom”. I honestly just laughed and said sorry. I think I did it last year as well and the teacher just laughed at me. It’s pretty embarrassing, especially when other people hear you say it.
