Have you ever called your teacher "Mum/Mom"?

It happened in P7 when I was like 12 multiple times, but at least I was saying Dad and not Daddy :flushed:

A few weeks ago, in my US History class, I almost called my teacher Mom while trying to ask her a question. I went “Mo- Mrs. _____?” :joy:

I haven’t called a male teacher “mum” yet, so I’m winning at life

I don’t think so. The only person I call mom would be my aunt (used to) and my grandma…

Never. None of my teachers looked/sounded like my mum.:white_heart:

I know friends who have done that but I don’t think I ever did that in school.

No because my teacher was better than my mom :upside_down_face:

Yes I have lol :joy: but I think nobody heard it luckily…

I have before, several times. I used to do it a lot when I was younger, I would just run up to the teacher to ask a question and the first thing that came out was “mom”. I honestly just laughed and said sorry. I think I did it last year as well and the teacher just laughed at me. It’s pretty embarrassing, especially when other people hear you say it.
