Did you guys know that the chlorine smell is actually how the water reacts to pee? Chlorine has no smell! I have a pool, we put chlorine in it, and it just smells like water. I probably did it once when I was little, or once when I didn’t realize it.

Another fact that no one really want to know , but I’m gonna share anyways.
The reason why you get red eyes when swimming in the pool is not just because of chlorine.It’s because of pee combined with chlorine.The nitrogen in the urine combines with the chlorine forms chloramine and it’s actually chloramine that causes the red eyes.
So if you ever come across a public pool the heavier it smells like chlorine , the more it’s filled with pee.
