Books
For me the book that has made me shed the most tears was perks of being a wallflower it is sad to the extreme I love it! I also grew up reading Jacqueline Wilson books which were all pretty miserable but the only one that really made me cry was my sister Jodie. I have since given all my JW’s away to the library at my primary school but I will always credit them as being a huge part of my childhood

There are plenty of books where I got part way through and just put it down again because it was just hard to get through. Then a little later on I would pick it up again. I had it with American Gods by Neil Gaiman but second time round I flew through it.

Popular anime cliche
To me it kinda depends. Most of the time I watch subbed anime because for some reason I can’t listen very well (brother sometimes screams and then I can’t hear what they are saying)
So there is this movie, Contagion, which matches our situation perfectly, I think. I saw Contagion a long time before the outbreak, just when coronavirus was only in a small village in China.
It is a very interesting movie in my opinion, and it’s really worth it. I really like the fact that you get to see stuff that can actually happen, and might be already happening in various countries. Even though that’s a bit creepy. Hehe.

Disney are working a movie based off the Artemis Fowl series of books. I loved these books when I was younger and I still love them now, just not as obsessed. I really hope disney don’t ruin it.
Take a look at movies like Legally Blonde our main character Elle is one you would easily stereotype as being a “dumb pretty blonde girl” but that’s not the case! In the movie she proved that you shouldn’t judge a book by the cover and as women we shouldn’t assume that just because somebody has good looks that doesn’t mean she lacks brains. She’s also really nice to everybody.
There are plenty of great movies out there that are actually pretty feminist! Let’s talk about them.
