Rate yourself between one to ten—how easily can you be influenced by your surroundings?
Sometimes, there are just habits and stuff we pick up from other people that we meet—either close or distant, which is also a part of growing up as a person. Though people may mistake you for being a “copy cat,” it really is a part of discovery and development. Some may be bad, though, which you certainly shouldn’t continue. Ever since we were young, we’ve always been influenced by our surroundings, and it helped shape us into who we are right now.
I rate myself about 2-4, number depending on my relationship with the certain person. I must say I picked up quite a number of habits (manner of speaking, gestures… even being opinionated and open-minded) from people I know, though some I picked up by myself influenced by the realization of how the world really is.
So how about you, @Discussions?
- How easily-influenced are you by your surroundings?
- How did it help shape you?
- What are the qualities or other things that you “picked up” from it?
