Well there is a Jewish law, Kashrut I think it’s called, we can only eat animals with specific requirements. We can eat cows because they chew their cud and have split hooves. Pigs I believe have split hooves but don’t chew their cud so we can’t eat pigs

Well I don’t really do Rosh Chodesh but I do Shabbat sometimes along with Yom Kippur, Passover, Rosh Hashanah, bar bat mitzvahs, we keep kosher, Chanukah, sukkot etc
