My Mum’s advice is drinking onion syrup with sugar and mineral water I don’t know if that really works because I’ve been very lucky and never had that problem

Oof no I don’t recommend taking these for constipation unless advised by a doctor. Laxatives are not good for your stomach and can lead to ulcers. You can take them every once in a while but I’d recommend finding better alternatives.
