Oh, true sometimes when earthquakes hit somewhere in North Carolina, the county can feel the house shaking. Even the other states can feel it too.

Every state get a earthquake some point in day, like I know California is due for a big earthquake. I was reading a paper on it.

I get thunderstorms with loud thunder and lightening strikes too. We had quite few big storms in the past couple of weeks which has been actually nice considering the heat index. I use to get afraid of thunder when I was younger but Iā€™m not effected by it as much.

If I was at school an the thunderstorm would get really bad we would be moved to the hallways but that usually only happened if there are tornados spotted in the storm. Most of the time the teachers would try to keep us focused on what weā€™re doing in the class. Otherwise, we all be at the windows watching it which is not safe but the schools have double-paned windows that make it really hard for the glass to break. When Iā€™m home I just unplug my laptop from the wall since it could mess with the wiring but most of the time Iā€™m not that worried. If it gets to point that itā€™s not safe to be around windows then we go into the downstairs bathroom. Itā€™s in the middle of the house with no windows. Thatā€™s where we usually go for when we have tornado sightings as well.

Wait, there was a hurricane coming? I donā€™t remember hearing about this at all.
