In my story, there’s a scene where the MC’s father is packing her some books for the trip, and the MC is a child, so I need some names for children’s books that sound like they would have been around in medieval times! Like books for elementary school kids and books for middle-schoolers. Lol feel free to leave the titles of some of your books- if it’s appropriate. But I feel like fake books would be great.

Then go for something like ‘bunny rabbits and carrots ’ that sounds like a kiddy book 
or ’ Rambo goes on an adventure’ I am sorry I usually go for mature book titles

Ooh that’s difficult. There weren’t many books around in the medieval period in general! They were super expensive because they had to be written and bound by hand

that was written in 1812. a bit late for medival times which is 476 e.Kr. – 1492
maybe pick a year it makes more easy to find information for your story

My story actually doesn’t really have a year, it’s fantasy and in my own little universe lol, but the setting is similar to that of medieval times. The MC’s family is rich and they have a lot of books.
but medieval is over 1000 years, you need to pick at least a century. is it the renaissance. middle age. before jesus or after.

Probably Enlightenment periods - that’s what it’s most similar to anyway I think.

In the story, they have Kings and Queens and carriages, and their fashion is from around the 17th century. I don’t want to make it exactly like that time period, but in this world the wealthy are extremely wealthy and extremely better off to the point that you’d think they’re living in the 18th century, however, life for the poor is probably going to be similar to the Enlightenment period. So yeah, not super realistic…
if its like 1700 then its not the medival times, that ended in 1492

I mean, again I’m not going for accuracy, it’s not even on earth - it’s a different universe with a different kingdom. The outfits are similar to those in the 1700’s and the time is probably not completely medieval times, you’re write about that, but it would probably be around the 1500’s. So probably like right after the medieval times, when they aren’t SUPER medieval but still have those characteristics.
Are there any books that would be good for that time period?
