Hey! I saw that this sub-forum was empty, so I thought, why not plant this root here? This topic is for writing ideas for stories. We will educate, help and learn from each other.

Rules:

  • Don’t steal ideas from each other.
  • No drama. Please!
  • If you are co-writing or collaborating, you may write down those ideas as well.
  • This is not a promotion thread, although I may proofread your stories.
  • This is not a debate thread. No arguments or competition of any kind.
  • Don’t belittle each other, or each other’s ideas.

I have a few.

  • Destiny’s flashback to how Detective Davis bullied her
  • Go back to the present
  • Destiny calls someone, scene fades out
  • Fade to the husband of the victim, grieving his loss…
  • Corrine calls someone, asking about how to get rid of “a certain woman”
  • Go to the next day
  • Destiny is not wearing her uniform. She will call the Sergeant and tell him that she quits
  • Choice on whether to tell Rhonda or not (impacts relationship)
  • Destiny picks up the necklace (overlay) and plans to start investigating the victim’s death
  • Should her face be seen?

I have an idea for a short story that is really weird, I don’t know if I should write it:

So basically you find yourself in a room and have no memories of literally anything except your name and what you look like (I’ll learn to somehow code it so that you can choose your gender). You don’t know if you are living or dead or where you even are, but memories come back and you have to actually figure out how to escape. I wanted to make a short story that would be a lot to code to gain experience- and I’m not good at character developement, so this is gonna be a challenge if I choose it. What do you guys think?

Alright, so I have an idea for one of my stories. So the scene starts out in the club to friends are given the choice of shots to drink. If you drink them you end up with surprise the next morning. I already have one part written out but I’m not sure if I should put the other friend with her friends brother or just her ex at this point.
