God is Holy. He doesn’t hate the sinner but the sin. We all did wrong(except for babies, they’re innocent) and He’s our Judge. He’s gonna judge us according to our works. But there is forgiveness. When He died on the cross, He took our sin with Him. But we must repent from our mistakes, and never do it again. Asked God to forgive us and know who He is. Some ways are reading The Bible and having a relationship with Him.
As for Satan, there’s a purpose. There are some things that’s unknown. But I do know is one day, God will wipe away all the tears from the eyes. There would be no more sorrows. Only Joy. God truly does love us.
Tbh I believe that there is no Satan or evil thing that makes us do evil, we just do it. We also make mistakes… everyone makes them which is why I don’t like to believe that we will be punished for those mistakes. That’s one of the reasons I don’t really believe in god. yes I’m a theist but not a Christian and I don’t follow any specific religion. I would never repent for any of my “sins” I’d rather make a mistake, learn from it and never do it again because I want to, not because I’ll be punished if I don’t.
I don’t think so. A person is defined as ‘good’ if they do acts of goodness and compassion towards life. But from what I have heard about Satan in western folklore, I don’t think he does any of that…
I’m not a religious person so I wouldn’t really know because I don’t necessarily believe in Satanism. I think that Lucifer Morningstar is very misunderstood.
Even though in the book I am working on, the protagonist is a succubus that works as a police secretary and a part-time bounty hunter, killing off bad people such as paedophiles, r*pists, traffiickers and those that normalise things that are morbid to humanity.
Like I said before, Satan is anything but misunderstood, he is what people say he is. He purposely tempts people in order to trick them and punish them. He doesn’t do it from the good of his “heart” he does it because he enjoys the pleasure of torturing someone else and so no it doesn’t make him good.
Besides why is punishing someone like them automatically means someone is good? It could mean they like torture, like Satan.
Satan has done many terrible things, it was by his fault that he was kicked out of Heaven.
Satan is evil, though I like the show Lucifer, I despise the actual lucifer/Satan.
