I started watching this anime a few days ago and I liked it so far, plot-wise.
However, there’s one thing about this show that bothers me a little. I kinda feel uncomfortable that Meliodas gropes Elizabeth a lot. I know that’s it’s a running gag and that Elizabeth doesn’t mind it, but it doesn’t stop me from feeling a bit uncomfortable.
Yeah, that’s super uncomfortable, and it doesn’t really get better for me
Like she doesn’t seem to mind it and eventually even seems to like it, but she doesn’t at the beginning and he never bothers asking if it’s okay in the first place
I don’t know what’s on the author’s mind when they included that element in the story. I wouldn’t be bothered as much if it was consented by Elizabeth. I feel uncomfortable with how sexualized Elizabeth is on this show. Meliodas would’ve been my favorite character if he wasn’t groping Elizabeth a lot.
A short scene actually establishing that she was okay with it would have made it so much better but they didn’ttt

Same they all have lovable qualities that’s kinda why I love the anime so much. It gives me such a nice feeling
