“You wanna sit here and mope, fiiiiiine.”
Simply nodding she gave him almost an encouraging smile, happy he was about to walk away from her. Sighing in relief she watched him take a few steps before reaching in her pocket to grab her phone and finally check all the notifications she probably had by now. It wasn’t wrong to say she was scared to look, her father wasn’t the easiest person. But she stopped the moment she saw Aries stopped walking. For the first time she was relieved he change this mind, at least that’s what it looked like. Keeping her eyes on him curiously she crossed her arms straightening up a bit but his next sudden move made her raise her brow questionably.
Hearing his first words as he walked back to her made her clench the arm of the bench almost in shock, slightly opening her mouth. If he didn’t try to defend himself she would actually attack him. Just when she thought no one would bring it up or openly mention it right in front of her he did it. Maybe this could actually make her mad enough to be able to hit that thing hard enough for the bell to ring.
Just looking at him, holding onto the bench tightly she furrowed her brows wondering what is she even doing here. So far he hasn’t done anything but insult her.
But the moment she heard him say ‘how much credibility that guy could get you back’ she looked at the direction he was pointing at making her face relax just a bit. And she knew that. It was none other than Jackson Vasquez with his cute daughter. Having him on their side would be the biggest thing she could achieve.
Taking a deep breath she slowly looked back at him, analyzing his face as hers remained emotionless.
“And what do you get from it?” She squinted her eyes, turning to fully face him. He was annoyingly close and she didn’t like it one bit even if he was… No he was not.
“You don’t seem like the type who would do something just because he feels like it.” She carefully said, looking back at Jackson as she stood up, fixing her jacket and then her low bun as if she was so sure of her next move. Of course, she wanted to walk up to the guy but the question was how and what was she supposed to do? “I don’t trust you.” She quickly added looking back at him with a raised brow. “I’m not risking getting embarrassed. Thank you for pointing out he’s here tho.” Giving him a forced smile she took just a step forward before stopping and crossing her arms. What was she supposed to do?

Current day

post

These past few days have been the worst. Other than trying not to focus on the pain there was nothing else he could do. His family had to be contacted too and that didn’t go well even if it wasn’t the first time they got such a call. Not being able to do anything, to see him was the worst part.
He just waited for the day he would be able to go home and not spend another day in that dull room. There was no particular reason but he hated hospitals. There was no one he could talk to, no one to spend time with, just nurses checking up on him on occasions. His whole body still felt heavy and moving in a certain way was still a bit painful but he could walk without any problem.
The first day back at home was the worst. At times like this, you do regret having a big house or just stairs. Sometimes he would just sleep down on the couch so that he doesn’t have to walk upstairs. It wasn’t the smartest idea, he should work on getting his strength back but it was better to stay safe in case something happens. He was all alone in that house after all.

Today wasn’t different. It was his third day at being at the house and he still felt incredibly exhausted. There wasn’t much he could do here either and nothing really brought him joy. It took him a few days to realized his bike was completely destroyed. It was his favorite bike, he does have another one but Roxy was his love. At least for a while people won’t have to worry about it, he can’t really ride it now.
Apparently there was a party happening tonight, pool party to be exact. It was his scene. He would be the first person to show up and have some fun but like this… he didn’t have the energy to go. He was also scared in a way. It would be the first time seeing everyone after what happened. He couldn’t really deal with all the looks or questions. Not yet.
Pulling up the blanket over himself he laid down on the couch, scrolling through his phone. Just to fill the silence his tv was on but he didn’t really pay attention to it. He did want to have some fun. He did want to spend just a little bit of his time with someone now but that party just wasn’t it.

Approachable?
