Kendrick and Ember
"Wow… I don’t know if we can even be friends anymore.” He laughed at her slightly. “Well, don’t judge me by my tastes. I can be very interesting and a really good friend you could’ve ever gotten.” He told her with confidence and chuckled again. He took his last sip of the coffee and tossed it into the trash can that was nearby. “When do you plan on doing the party?” He ran his hand through his hair, thinking about her question. “Well, when do you think I should?” He asked her with a casual shrug and smiled.
“Nope, haven’t been there yet. Do you wanna head on over there?”
He was tapping his fingers while she asked him if he wanted to go to the fair and checked his watch. “Now? Isn’t it too late? It’s probably over by now.” He told her, unsure if he wanted to go to the fair or not. He wasn’t a big fan of fairs and places where people fight over little things and ride stupid things. But he also wouldn’t mind going with someone else. However, he would try his best to stay away from such places.
Kendrick and Fadil
“At the party, you should talk to a number of people so you get acquainted with them,” He mentally hit himself for his brainlessness and chuckled at himself. “Right. Sorry. Well, yeah. That’s kinda the whole plan for hosting a party, right?” He told him with a casual shrug and smiled. “You see that’s what I like to hear. I have my planner back at home we can go there or I’ll just use my phone to keep record,” He chuckled at Fadil for his preparedness and smiled instantly. “Well, I’m not really sure if we need that big of a preparation. But sure, why not? I’m fine with either honestly.” He told him with a smile.
Aurie and Aries
Aries tried to mimic her in a high pitched voice but it only made Aurie’s laughter worse. Her eyes were filled with tears due to her fit of laughter and she really couldn’t help it. She finally got a hold of herself and dusted herself a little to show him that she’s done laughing at him. “You… sound even better with that voice. It suits you better.” She teased him and burst out into laughter again. She never laughed this much before as she did now. Only a few people can make her laugh in Lime Grove and Aries was definitely one of them. But she never expected to laugh like this with him. It was honestly surprising for her as well but she really didn’t want to think about it. All she wanted today was relaxation and some fun and she was definitely getting what she wanted.
“One: since when am I an infamous f-boy? I disapprove of said title. Two, that kid was practically done with his ice cream. No harm done.”
Aurie took a while to actually get hold of herself and looked at him with a grin. “One…” She leaned a little closer to his ear so that only he could hear it. “ever since you started sleeping around with girls. Don’t try to deny it, I know it all.” She told him in a husky voice and went back to her original position with a smirk on her lips. “And two: he was practically done with his ice cream because, thanks to you, that ice cream was on the ground and the only thing he had in his hand was the cone.” She told him with slight laughter.
Aurie had a big grin on her face as she took a seat next to Aries. She had an amazing day so far and she loved it. But with Aries’s question, she couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed. She looked down at her lap and scoffed ever so slightly before looking at them. “Why is it that you are not ending your engagement when it’s clear that you don’t love your fiance?” She asked him, mimicking his exact voice base and trying to avoid the question he asked. The last thing she wants is to let anyone into her life completely and she’s not sure if she can let Aries in yet. They are both f*cked up in their own ways and they both know it very well. Yet, they both act as if they are not f*cked up and that everything is normal… at least, she does.
