Adeline resurfaced, wiping the water away from her eyes as she let the coolness prick her skin. She wasn’t going to think for a while. Well. Fifteen minutes. But that was the most time she’d ever taken not to think. Hearing frustrated grunts from Leo, she curiously looked over as he looked down at his phone in annoyance. Probably something about a chick calling him a pubescent teenager with no sense of responsibility or something. She was about to go swim to another area when he called out to her instead, making her pause in the water. “I have something funny to show you.”
He looked p!ssed as he held the phone out to her. She sighed as she swam over, a bit annoyed he’d decided to ruin it already. As she approached, she flicked the water from her fingers and stood over by him, looking over his shoulder at the phone screen. Her breath immediately hitched at what she was seeing.
This was her absolute nightmare.
Someone had stupidly decided to put up a website of secrets. It had to be some joke. She scoffed as she moved past him, practically stomping to the boat to grab her phone. Water dripped from her hair onto the screen, and her fingers shook as she unlocked the screen and pressed the notification.
She only glanced through the posts and the comments, looking over at Leo briefly as she read something about Elise and him. But when she saw nothing about her, she breathed out a sigh of relief. The only person who she knew knew about anything was…
“Someone’s just trying to play games,” She reassured, continuing to stare down at the screen as she read. Henry, Naia…
She was quick to send a message to Mateo.
It was a short message, but a message nonetheless. A warning. No matter how much he reassured her, she still couldn’t take any chances. She swallowed hard, locking her phone and putting it back into the boat as if it were a disease. It was fine. Nothing was going to happen. Even so, she ran her hands through her damp hair, pulling at the roots as she looked over at Leo. “You…ok?” Was all she could manage.
“Oh pleasure to meet you Alison” I smirked devilishly and shook her hand “I’m Miles” I said
The pizza guy came and I smiled at him and took the pizza “perfect” I said and picked up a slice giving it a bite “amazing” I mumbled as covering my mouth Mm, sorry, can’t hear you - Too busy eating this before you do
I chuckled “you know you can’t beat me at eating” I said with a raised brow and kept on eating @aesthetic
“Yeah, you’re right.” I scratched my hair and took a deep breath. Tamara was reassuring me, which was starting to calm me down, but I was still scared.
“If it makes you feel any better, I could consult my tarot cards and see if they can tell me anything about this.” I leaned in closer and whispered “Are you sure that we should be speaking about this in the cafe? Someone could be spying on us?” I sat back in my seat. “But yeah…that would help me feel better honestly.”
“Lake sounds nice” I nodded in agreement “so does the pool so whichever you like” I shrugged Whatever you want to do I’m okay with it. Let me just get some ice and some food
“Okay okay. Um, lake?” I picked
“It’s ice were you expecting it to be warm?” I chuckled @Yomama
“Someone’s just trying to play games,”
“That’s what I was trying to say.” He added, trying to see her reaction. She also didn’t seem that happy about it. I mean, he could guess why, he knows some things about her but it didn’t look like it was because of those things. “You…ok?”
“Yeah, I’m fine.” He simply said, shrugging as if he didn’t know what she was talking about. Taking a few steps back he just looked around the place, avoiding eye contact and talking about the site, or her mentioning Elise. That was the last thing he wanted to talk about, especially with her. What he did to her was enough, he doesn’t have to talk about his ex. “Just thought it was stupid.” He added laughing lightly as he lifted his gaze up to her. Watching her reaction once again, he sat down playing with some small rocks and throwing one into the water before he spoke up. “Are you ok?” He carefully asked her, crossing his legs as he looked down at the sand, playing with it and letting it fall between his fingers.
“Oh pleasure to meet you Alison…I’m Miles” I bit my lip and looked away before looking back towards him. “Hmm? I didn’t quite catch that. I was too busy looking at that cute lil server - did you say your name was Miley? Adorable.” I said, giggling as I took a sip of my tea. Checkmate. “you know you can’t beat me at eating”
I laughed lightly and shrugged. “That’s what you think.” I said, continuing to eat.
I smiled. “How long did you live in France for?” I asked him curiously.
“I’m still a little tired from last night, but I’m doing good.”
“Did you go to the party too? I’m not too tired from it, but I didn’t do much anyway.” I told him. I then looked at him as he looked at my phone and raised one of his hands up to his chest.
“I would hope that it isn’t, but a part of me is saying that it is.”
I sighed. “You think it is? Do you think there’ll be more secrets coming or do you think this’ll stop soon? I hope those are the only posts…”
I chuckled and rolled my eyes “we’re even now” That’s what you think.
I shook my head and finished the pizza in my mouth "Literal facts " I said and smirked while taking another bite finishing the slice in my hand @aesthetic
I gave him a victorious smile and nodded at his comment. “Alrighty then Kilometers.” I said, pursing my lips playfully. “Literal facts” I rolled my eyes and took a bite of my pizza. After we finished, I tossed the trash into the bin and turned to him with my hands on my hips. “You ready to go play some fair games?” I asked, raising my brow excitedly as I bit my lip.
Evan was flaking and then he got his phone out because he heard it and then he asked me if I saw whatever it is that he sees. “Nah I haven’t checked it yet man, my phone is on silent” I say and then I get out my phone. I read it and think to myself oh sh!t this is not good especially with some things that have happened. “Dang Evan this is not good I wonder who is behind this”
@Kbail- thanks for tagging again I was looking for it and the last few days haven’t been good for me.
I started worrying and studying Bentley’s reaction to the site. “Dang Evan this is not good I wonder who is behind this” I started scratching my neck “Yeah…I mean they already have a bunch of people’s secrets on there…this could ruin peoples lives.” I showed him the secrets that they put about elise, henry, naia and more. I didn’t know what to think or do.
“Yeah I can see that and some of these are shocking weather they are true or not. Hopefully none of it is true and this is just someone that hates Lime Grove for some reason” I say with a shrug. I didn’t really want to think of this non sense.
I shook my head and stood up. “But imagine if these secrets are true?” Maybe this lockdown was for a reason." I picked up the basketball and tried to throw it in the hoop, but missed it…again. “Maybe, they got us all together so that we can pick each other apart.”
She nodded. She understands that he wouldn’t want
anyone to know. She wouldn’t even want anyone to
know that she helped him cheat. Complicated? Now
that could mean many things as well. “Well, you
seem like a complicated guy.” Laughing slightly and
opened the fridge. Grabbed some fruit out of it
before returning back to their conversation. She
heard him about and walked into the living room.
Laughing as she shook her head,” Not unless you
make her mad. Now on the other hand…” She
pointed toward her cat on the arm rest. “He is a bit
sassy so a bit of a brat.” She smirked, popping a
strawberry into her mouth. It was quite amusing on
Aries reaction of Aspen, her dog that is. She clicked
her tongue to the roof of her mouth, calling the dog
over before crouching down to pet her. She gotten
her at a rescue.
“You did not just-” I opened my mouth in shock and gasped “you little piece of sh-” I said and shook my head. She just called me Kilometers. I-. I-.
I gave her a playful hit on the arm You ready to go play some fair games?
I smirked “I was born ready” I said and got up, throwing my rubbish away
“Let’s go” I exclaimed and raised my arm a bit so she could kind her with it @aesthetic
“You did not just-” A taunting grin spread to my face as I raised my brows. “Oh, yes I did.” I said, sticking my tongue out at him playfully before letting out a laugh. “you little piece of sh-” I laughed quietly and pursed my lips. “What are you gonna do about it, Kilometers?” I said, biting my lip humorously. Teasing Miles was so fun - especially when I knew the things that made him freak out. “I was born ready” I chuckled and gave him a smile before walking forwards. “Okay… where to first? Basketball is always fun… Maybe the ring toss? Mm, or bumper cars?” I suggested, leaving it up to him.
“No rest for the wicked” I shook my head with a light sigh What are you gonna do about it, Kilometers?
“Grheiwnsgdiejs” I muttered “A d d i s o n!” I said and nudged her. “Stop calling me that!!” Okay… where to first? Basketball is always fun… Maybe the ring toss? Mm, or bumper cars?

It didn’t worry me too much, yes obviously that sucks but they can’t really know anything about me that I don’t want them to. It takes a lot to get my trust, and I don’t open up my life to people I don’t trust.
There’s not one person except for Ian that knew everything about me, and I trust Ian with my whole heart. People are just immature.

I felt her grab my hand and I smiled, looking off to the side. I felt a notification, getting my phone from out of my pocket. I had noticed she had got a notification too, just a coincidence. I thought to myself, I didn’t really care about what the notification, I just read a few words about a site?
I looked at my phone confused and shrugged it off putting my phone back into my pocket.
I nodded when she said the Ferris Wheel. " Okay lets be sure to do that. " I said and smiled at her. " I’m not sure what to expect, to be honest. " I said.
I grinned and looked at all the fun attractions ahead.
