It’s true :joy: Limelight barely has any hairstyles that I’d actually wear irl, and they need more hairstyles for my length of hair that isn’t just straight :eyes:

They both have their pros and cons tbh, but LL has more variety as it’s the latest style.

As long as the story isn’t in classic, then it’s fine.

Both are great art styles, in my opinion. Ink will always have a special place in my heart since a lot of my favorite stories on Episode were made in this art style.

I mostly read Limelight stories nowadays since it offers more realistic and diverse features. Other than that, Limelight also has more clothing and animations. However, I still prefer reading comedy and action stories in Ink because Ink has more exaggerated and expressive animations which work well in these story genres. As for other genres such as fantasy, I’d say that it’s better to read it in LL since it contains more fantasy assets.

Regardless, I love all Episode art styles, even Classic. Classic was the first style I fell in love with.

Limelight forever. It is more realistic looking. Ink looks like a poorly made cartoon. While classic… Well, an even proorlier made cartoon.

As far as the art style goes, Classic is actually my favorite. I think that a lot of the assets in it have a good level of cartoon and all work well with each other.

As far as animations, I prefer limelight, since a lot of the ink animations look funky to me. I also hate the mix between the clothing with and without hard borders.

Agreed, i actually like the hairs there but yeah. I like some of the clothes too

the clothes move so weirdly, though, especially the dresses. they look like a whole bunch of blocks vaguely attached to their legs :pensive:

Some of the clothes are pretty cool but yeah again agreed, it moves weird comparing to INK & Limelight.

yeah, i like the art style but the animations just look so awkward, it’s hard to make it look decent compared to the other two

I still say Classic over both of them. Nobody can change my mind on Classic being better than them.
