Loving Yourself, Your body, image and personality

I guess you could call this a beauty thing. But this is more about appreciating yourself mentally. I’m going to be walking you through a range of exercises, to get you more appreciative of yourself. Boys and non-binary, transgender, and such are free to join. However this is mainly aimed towards women and ladies.

Beauty

Many people wish they had clear complexion, free of any blemishes and bruises. Thats pretty much near impossible to acheieve at the beginning unless you have focused on that your whole life.

Many of us have decided were ugly. Because of tiny imperfections. But what about our perfections? Go look at the mirror and I want you to list all your attractive features or features that you like or aren’t ugly in your opinion.

Mine
  • Depending on the angle and lighting my eyes can be a deep brown or black.

  • My curls are so perfectly curly and my hair is a healthy black. Not heat damaged or anything. That’s my favorite feature.

  • This sounds weird by I like my lips and teeth. I like my teeth because their white. And my lips because they are natural. I get asked so many times what lip filler I use like-

So do that everyday. And if you find a blemish on your skin that is bothering you, look up how to get rid of it and be committed to doing so.

It’s okay if you don’t like a certain feature. I hate my nose, lol. But that doesn’t mean your ugly. And don’t be unreasonable about it. If you want to change yourself, dying your hair, colored contacts, etc. That’s okay. Just don’t go overboard and change your entire features…This is all about accepting your body. You look greatest when you feel like a Queen.

Peace and Mindfulness

A good mental health exercise is meditation and I have 2 downloaded on my phone. One is called Calm, and the other is “Let’s meditate”. I get 6 months of calm free with my Samsung phone so…

I meditate everyday after getting out of the shower, before bed, when I am stressed or anxious. It’s a new thing I’m still doing and setting time aside for.

Amazing idea! This topic needs to be addressed!

But what really is pretty?

Like do you ever think who decided first what features were pretty and what features weren’t?

Like what if crooked nose, fat body and narrowed eyes were considered pretty in that time? And the features people consider pretty rn would be counted as ugly?

I think whoever decided that centuries ago, I refuse to live according to their definition of pretty.

Kinda didn’t plan to write that long. Sorry.

Welcome to the latest article of my blog(?) On you positivity! Feel free to share the love for this year! This is a 7 day series with a New Year, New You.

Goals are a tradition to plan during the new year, aren’t they? How many goals have you planned or aim to plan? Goals are fun to plan, even if they seem unreachable at the moment. However, writing down goals and planning them out are two different things.

A little progress adds up to big results

How do you go about doing the progress, some may ask? Break your goal down into smaller, obtainable steps that doesn’t make the goal seem so daunting. Running into the new year with goals and no plans is a bit risky, and if your one of those people who need to be precise on what you’re doing, you often need to plan.

For example, a goal plan may look like:

  1. You want to earn money for [object]
  • Possible ways to earn money
    • Some research into how to do each, probably with a list for pros and cons
  • How much the object costs
  • How long it’d take to obtain the money for [object]
    • Then you’d calcualate days, weeks, months, however it works for you. You can include this in pros and cons

Simple or more complex lists like this totally helps. Especially if your goals are finiancial or business related. You must have a plan. If it’s something like weight loss, take into account everything before you rush into it.
